I was watching the opening of Glenn Beck's TV show a short time ago. He was talking about the DNC ad claiming the Republican party sending mobs to town hall meetings to oppose BO's socialist health care plan. One clip from the ad showed a woman at a town hall meeting in Delaware showing her birth certificate and asking why BO can't do the same to prove he is a natural born citizen.
Beck then made the observation they had to use a clip of a "birther Idiot". The term birther couldn't be more misleading since it refers to people who simply demand BO abide by Article II Section I of the Constitution but somehow this fundamental point is lost on Beck. I immediately turned off the TV. I won't watch him again.
Fine, but how hard is it for him to prove it? I have my birth certificate, where’s his?
Obama could end this in five minutes if he wanted to.
I love Glenn Beck and I think it’s a shame that he has to crap on people for something they (me) believe in and he get treated the same way by people for his “wild” theories.
Screw you Glenn Beck. Libertarians aren’t going to listen to you, or they are in such short supply you won’t last long.
You know what this reminds me of? You remember in highschool where there was like one or two unpopular kids and the sure fire way to endear yourself to the ‘popular’ kids was to jump on the kickeminthenuts “losers”?
I feel like that is this situation. A bunch of COWARDLY (yeah, I mean you too Hannity, Beck, Coulter) so called conservatives who think it’s ‘cool’ to make fun of a group of people. The stupid part is they don’t realize how many of THEIR audience is a part of the birther ‘idiocy’.
As of now there is no proof that this muslim is not natural born, so to my mind let the game play out.
The amount of noise that this issue has generated has attracted a lot of attention be patient it will all play out.
What is irrational about asking to see the “best” evidence? Obama **himself** has willing shown a lesser form of evidence by posting his COLB.
And...What is rational about spending nearly a million dollars in attorney time trying to suppress a $10 document that a true natural born citizen would be **honored** to show to the world?
By the way....There is a lot of taxpayer money being spent to suppress Obama’s birth certificate. It was **U.S. Attorneys** who showed up in Judge Carter's court last month. Who's paying for that? I think the American citizen has a right to know why Obama is wasting the time of government employees in his attempt to hide $10 document.
And finally...It was the Democratic Marxist Party who started this cat fight by demanding that McCain prove his eligibility. So?... The afterbirthers are claiming that Constitutionalists shouldn't ask Obama to prove his? Huh?
Obama doesn’t want to release his records because he is hiding something. Is it that he wasn’t born in Hawaii? We have no way of knowing since he’s spent hundreds of thousands to seal ALL his records.
I think Beck should take the position that this IS a constitutional issue and a wait and see attitude. I think he’s been hanging out with Bill O’Reilly a little too much.
Or maybe FNC (Fox News) has issued orders. We don’t know that.
He may think he is but he is no Libertarian. I don't watch Beck - too much of clown for me. So we get to add yet another conservative pundit to the anti-birther crowd. To bad. Medved, Hewitt, O'Reilly, Coulter, Beck - all gone.
They aren't stupid. They know.
They have been given their orders by the highest executives in the Fox News organization. What happened here? Did the chief executive wake up one morning and find a horse's head in his bed?
The fact is NO ONE on Fox is defending the Constitutional point that the president must be a natural born citizen. They are either ignoring the issue, misstating the issue, or, like Coulter and OReilly, being insulting. This could only be coming from the very top of the Fox News organization.
We should inundate these executives with letters and e-mails. Shame on them!
Well it does seem to be a standard Rat tactic. Remember Clinton never released his health records, Kerry never released his Form 180.
I was wondering why someone would be mad at Beck for that as he questions Obama’s birth too.
BECK IS NOT ANTI-BIRTHER!
Good. I'll take him off my list. But give me your rationale.
Good observation. I haven't seen Savage lately, but Beck is definitely losing it.

These threads are posted by people who obviously do not watch Beck. He is one of the people most critical of Obama, is skeptical of his place of birth and often uses SARCASM.
Me? A libertarian? Not bloody likely, mate! It was Western man’s worship of Liberty that got us into this mess in the first place. No thanks!
Huh?
Glenn and Ann, you are both acting just like Barbara "Ma'am" Boxer in dismissing the issue in such a condescending manner.
Apparently such things are not uncommon. This is video by an investigative team whose report on milk hormones was spiked by Fox News after receiving threats from Monsanto:

Fox News is good for some things but one should not mistake it for the gospel truth.
For real? I wasn't aware of that.
A lot of taxpayer money is being wasted simply to protect a 10 dollar document.
Beck is a media hireling first and foremost.
