Am I bovvered?
"But, you know, for me, it just wasn't, you know, it didn't, you know, for me, it didn't have any of that, you know, dope."
a little pitchy dog, but you cool dog, u cool...
A little off topic, but I do LOVE how Twitter is the medium of choice for personalities to break news directly to fans/supporters. Anything that makes the MSM irrelevant is all right by me.
Never watched “American Idol” or “Friends” for that matter. Given me time to perfect cold fusion in my basement lab. :0)
Guess she couldn’t afford a bra. :0)
She already has a show lined up..it’s been in the works the last 5 months...it is a talent discovery show...just what we needed.
Kara DioGuardi is awful. She reminds my wife and I of that girl in the movie Coming To America with Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall who sits in the booth with them at a club going on and on about being a star and a pop singer and writing my own songs zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
American Idol is scripted and fixed anyways.
Randy Jackson has even less talent/credibility than Flavor Flav..
Yes, the story is so unimportant that even the New York Times decides to feature it.

Paula Abdul Says She Will Leave American Idol
By Brian Stelter AND Edward Wyatt
After weeks of negotiations with the producers of American Idol, Paula Abdul said Tuesday evening that she was leaving the top-rated singing competition.
With sadness in my heart, Ive decided not to return to #IDOL, Ms. Adbul wrote on Twitter.
Ill miss nurturing all the new talent, she wrote, but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day 1 become an international phenomenon.
Fox had no immediate comment.
Her apparent decision came one day after Fox said Kara DioGuardi would return as a judge next season. The show is preparing for the first appearance, later this month, of potential contestants for the shows ninth season before the judging panel.
Ms. Abduls contract expired at the end of last season, and she had been negotiating for a substantial raise from the estimated $2 million that she earned last year.
Ms. Abdul had said that she wanted to return to the show, and Fox Broadcasting and the shows producers had said they want her back. Last week on Twitter she had written, I hope you can understand I can only return to Idol if the deal is fair.
Well, I don’t need to bet, the news has been confirmed.

Fox confirms Paula Abdul is leaving ‘American Idol’
by Adam B. Vary
Paula Abdul has announced on her Twitter feed, and Fox has confirmed, that she will not return to American Idol for another season. Simon Cowells rep tells EW that the judge, who has said in the past that he does not want to do Idol without Abdul, is not making any comment. Below is the full statement from Abdul:
With sadness in my heart, Ive decided not to return to IDOL. Ill miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day 1 become an international phenomenon. What I want to say most, is how much I appreciate the undying support and enormous love that you have showered upon me. It truly has been breathtaking, especially over the past month. I do without any doubt have the BEST fans in the entire world and I love you all.
The full statement from Fox:
Paula Abdul has been an important part of the American Idol family over the last eight seasons and we are saddened that she has decided not to return to the show. While Paula will not be continuing with us, shes a tremendous talent and we wish her the best.
“With sadness in my heart...Ill miss nurturing all the new talent”.
It would seem my definition of “nurturing” and Paula’s definition of “nurturing” are not the same. No doubt she’ll miss all that young “talent”, big time.
Nigel offered her a job with his reality show, “So You Think You Can Dance”. I wouldn’t count her out of the spotlight. If she wants it, the offer is there. That is if this is legit and not a contract ploy.
Sadly Mrs S and I know exactly what you are talking about :o(
Wow — thanks for the status report.
I am a little disappointed. Simon, Randy and Paula became modern American archetypes. Every reality judging show has all 3 represented.
The new whats-her-face detracted from the show this year.
How ironic that Simon will get 100 mil this coming year when people will probably not watch as much.
Paula may have been a ditz — but she was OUR ditz. Like a sister who doesn’t always track but whom you love anyway.
The few times I watched the show what I enjoyed most was Paula’s comments. She will be missed. The other girl judge is just not that interesting.
I’ll be awake all of the next five minutes over thiszzzzzzzz
Hahahahahahahahaahaha..I have recently been put in charge of garbage!
I’m worried they won’t be able to find another drugged out celebrity in Hollywood.
