Now that Congress is deciding whether to allocate more clunkers money, isn’t it totally obvious that they should have access to the results of the just-ended clunkers experience? I can’t find words to describe how obvious that is. Also, since we taxpayers are paying the bill, isn’t it obvious that we are entitled to see the results? Why are these things so obvious, but yet the data is being withheld? Because the data would be embarrassing to a few individuals.
First thing the dealerships did was ‘clear’ their lots of the ‘clunkers’. Imaginary owners trading in these clunkers for cash. Get real people and look at your towns and see how many ‘paper’ tags are on new cars. This program went up in smoke to the dealerships to rid their lots of the clunkers on the list.
FNC just reporting Senate ‘Rats expect to vote more money by the end of the week. The American public needs to see that data.
