Democrat Party No Longer a Political Organization It's A Criminal Conspiracy
Right Side News ^ | August 1, 2009 | Dr. Jack Wheeler

Posted on 08/02/2009 12:29:17 PM PDT by jazusamo

There's such a cornucopia of delectable items to choose from this week, so where does the HFR begin?  How about with the increasing awareness that the corruption within the Democrat Party is so pervasive that the entire party should be RICO'ed?

What more perfect case for prosecution under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization Act could one ask for?  The Democrat Party is no longer a political organization - it is a criminal conspiracy.

Yet another example was provided this week (7/27), when it was disclosed that two of the most powerful Dem Senators, Chris Dodd and Kent Conrad, got sweetheart loan deals from Countrywide Financial, the company substantially responsible for the housing crisis.

The same day (7/27), the Wall Street Journal vividly described the immorality of Charlie Rangel, chairman of House Ways & Means - and noted the House Ethics Committee is investigating him on six separate issues. Yes, six.

The corruption of John Murtha, chairman of Defense Appropriations, is so blatant that even the New York Times now supports (7/18) for a FBI criminal investigation of him.

The evidence of Murtha's criminality is mounting so fast that odds are he'll be in prison rather than Congress by next term.

Nancy Pelosi has been engaged in a criminal conspiracy with her millionaire husband Paul for years.  She refuses to have Murtha investigated by the Ethics Committee because they are partners in crime.

Then there's William "Cold Cash" Jefferson, whose bribery trial went to jury yesterday (7/30).

These examples could go on and on, with more to gain wide public notoriety so that by November 2010, Jack Abramoff and Pelosi's label of "the GOP culture of corruption" will be long forgotten and replaced by the Democrat Criminal Conspiracy - the DCC.

When you add to this the mind-blowing level of arrogance by Dem leaders, you're looking at massive voter rejection.  Take House Judiciary chairman John Conyers, who this week (7/27) dismissed the necessity of Congressmen actually reading a bill before they vote on it.
***
The media will not be able to bail the Pelosicrats out because of the latter's failure to revive the economy.  Pelosi has a popularity rating of 25% for good reason.  She is despised in most every Blue Dog district, which means she has little leverage with them.  To survive in 2010, the Blue Dogs must run against her.

There are 52 members of the "fiscally conservative" Democrat Blue Dog Coalition, many of whom won their seats last year with razor-thin majorities in normally GOP districts.   The NRCC (National Republican Congressional Committee) will be targeting every one who can be tied to Pelosi.

(The NRCC just announced it's going after 80 Dem seats next year - a gain of 40 means a GOP majority.)

So the Blue Dogs have no choice but to tear their party apart.  The anger and hatred the  Dems in the hyper-leftie coalitions (CPC, CBC, CHC - Congressional Progressive, Black, & Hispanic Caucuses respectively) harbor for the Blue Dogs has become volcanic.

Thus any bill on ObamaCare or Cap 'n Tax the Blue Dogs will agree to, the lib caucuses won't and vice versa.  The Pubs can just sit back and enjoy the internecine carnage.

***
Speaking of driving the lib moonbats crazy, you won't believe the spleen they're venting on their websites like Daily Kos and Huffington Post - against Hillary and Zero for backing off on support of Zelaya in Honduras.

What's completely freaking them out is the new Honduran government was smart enough to hire major Clintonista Lanny Davis (Slick's White House Counsel) to lobby the Dems in DC (State, Capitol Hill, the White House) for them.

Lanny is why Hillary characterized Zelaya as "reckless" for his one-toe-across-the-border stunt, and the moonbats can't stand it.  They are totally enraged that the Chavez-Castro communists may not take over Honduras after all, that the pro-freedom Hondurans may pull this one off.

To placate them, Hillary revoked four visas for Honduran diplomats as a sop.  What really mattered is that Zelaya was disinvited to come to Washington this week.  He is bitterly disappointed to be stuck in Ocotal, Nicaragua when he expected to be garnering world attention by meeting Hillary and Zero in the White House.  Thanks, Lanny.

(Oh, and check out this stunningly anti-Chavez editorial in this morning's Washington Post written by Lanny's friends.  Note the anti-Zelaya mention at the end.)

If Honduras succeeds, the entire Moonbat Left will focus their hatred on Hillary.  The HFR is a big fan of civil wars between America's enemies - foreign and domestic.

***
The HFR also has a confession this week - it's developing a strange sort of fondness for Joe Biden, like folks have for their crazy uncle in the attic.

In an official visit to (former Soviet) Georgia last week, he told Georgians on their national television that "Russia used a pretext to invade your country," and that the US supports NATO membership for Georgia.

Then he concluded his trip with a press interview in which he said:

"(The Russians) have a shrinking population base, they have a withering economy, they have a banking sector and structure that is not likely to be able to withstand the next 15 years, they're in a situation where the world is changing before them and they're clinging to something in the past that is not sustainable."

As a wag asked, "Who slipped Joe the truth serum?"  The Kremlin got all bent out of shape over Biden stating the unmentionably obvious, and Zero had to say that Joe didn't really mean what he said.

The HFR says, good for old Joe.  This goofy guy is becoming endearing.  Yes, he's a Dem whose only solution to any problem is higher taxes - but he's not an evil man and doesn't hate his country like his boss.  We'll take him when his boss goes cuckoo and resigns - at least until we get Palin in 2012.

***
Nonetheless, the HFR Hero of the Week Award does not go to Slow Joe, but to Jairam Ramesh, the Environment Minister of India.  Day before yesterday (7/29) in a speech to the Lok Sabha (Parliament of India), he announced that India will not cooperate in any way with eco-fascism's global warming scam. Ever.

"We will not accept any cap on (CO2) emissions" said Ramesh. "We will not accept any legally binding caps. Not now or later."

This dooms the "Cap and Trade" bill of the Fascist Midget, Henry Waxman (D-CA), one of Zero's major legislative goals which would have resulted in the largest tax increase in world history.  India has come to our rescue.

***
The HFR offers two "must reads" this week.  One is a short essay in the London Daily Telegraph that describes Obama's Nightmare.  It observes that:

"America is the only major country in the Western world whose leadership is dramatically moving to the left."

As a result, it predicts:

"Barack Obama may end up as one of the least popular presidents in American history."

The second is Mark Steyn's The Nationalization of Your Body.

The left argues that government health care is a "moral enterprise."  Yet, Mark asks:

"What's so moral about relieving the citizen of responsibility for his own health care?  If free citizens of the wealthiest societies in human history are not prepared to make provision for their own health, what other core responsibilities of functioning adulthood are they likely to forego?"

That's why "government-directed health care is a profound assault on the concept of citizenship" and must be prevented.  This is worth reading carefully.

***
It may go down in history as one of the classic put-downs of Zero.  When asked what the president's contribution was to the "beer summit" yesterday (7/30) between police officer James Crowley and Harvard professor Henry Gates at the White House, Crowley said:

"He provided the beer."

Which prompts me to extend the length of this HFR beyond normal and tell a story.

Some time ago, I signed up to participate in National Geographic's Genographic Project.  I scrubbed the inside of my cheek with a swab and sent it to Family Tree DNA to trace my paternal ancestry via my Y-chromosome.

This revealed that my genetic "haplogroup" is R1a1 and that my paternal ancestors are from the British Isles (mostly English, then Irish, then Scottish).  This combination means I am descended from the Vikings who invaded Britain in the late 8th century AD.

My DNA shows some 50 matches with other people who have signed up for the project.  There is a direct match using 37 genetic markers, for example, with an R. D. Wheeler, giving an over 99% probability we have a common paternal ancestor within 12 generations.

Sure enough, our independent genealogical research before we communicated determined that we share the same 9th g-grandfather, Thomas Wheeler from Cranfield, Bedfordshire who sailed to America in 1635 and founded Milford, Connecticut.

The other matches show varying genetic distances and have various surnames.  Among those surnames  I just noticed that several are variants or different spellings of the same name:  Cralley, Cralle, Crawley, Crowley.

Crowley?  Could I be related to Sgt. James "He provided the beer" Crowley?  Evidently so.

Perhaps you've seen the story this week claiming that Crowley and Henry Gates are related

(The story is a con, however, because Crowley's DNA has not been analyzed as Gates' has.  It just assumes that Crowley is Irish because of the name - an Anglicization of the Gaelic "O'Cruadhlaoich," descendant of "Cruadhlaoich," a personal name composed of  "cruadh," hardy, and "laoich," warrior.

Yet Crowley and its variants is also a common name in England derived from Old English "crawe," crow, and "leah," a clearing in the woods.)

Gates' DNA shows he is part Irish.  "I'm descended from a white man," he says. "A white man who slept with a black slave."

And he hates himself for it.  That's why he's a professional black racist.  Anti-white black racism is what he teaches at Harvard.  And here's the hilarious irony:

The Chairman of the African-American Studies Department at Harvard University, Henry Louis "I'm descended from a white man" Gates, is one of the foremost advocates of slave reparations - that vast amounts of taxpayer money be paid as compensation to the descendants of black slaves in pre-Civil War America.

Gates could not be a better example of who owes whom in "reparations," as discussed way back in early 2004 in We Owe Us:

The substantial majority of black people in America are only partially black. They are also partially white, and are so because they are of mixed white slave-owner and black slave owned ancestry.

"If justice requires that the descendants of slave-owners compensate the descendants of slaves, this means that people of such ancestry - again the vast majority of American blacks - must compensate themselves. They are virtually the only folks in America of whom there can be no reasonable doubt that their ancestors owned slaves.

Blacks owe reparations to themselves... But the reparations shouldn't be paid in cash.

"t should be paid by swearing off their addiction to whining, begging, and victimizing their lives with anti-white racism. It should be paid by standing up and facing the reality of their slave/slave-owner heritage. It should be paid by a conviction to be proud of themselves for what they accomplish as individuals and not for membership in a racial group. It should be paid by being proud to be an American with no reservations.

No where in the world, no where in history, have black people accomplished more and flourished more than in America. No where else on earth do black people have the opportunity and freedom to prosper more than America. All Americans have a right to be proud of these achievements. The celebration of these historical achievements would be the best reparations of all.

Needless to say, such a celebration did not take place at the "beer summit," nor will it ever at the Zero White House.

Agreed, and I remember the ‘50s and ‘60s well. Far to many of the teachers in higher education now are the scum of that era and their offspring.

Glad to hear you were at the Conroe, TX tea party and it looks like the tide is starting to change for the 2010 elections.

You’re most welcome and Dr. Wheeler tells it like it is, I’ll be looking for his pieces in the future.

Good article and great post, Jaz!

I read the entire thing, and Dr. Wheeler expresses many interesting insights. I liked his take that the ulimate failure of the "Pelosicrats" will create chaos in Dem ranks.

Just to pick out one line that got me thinking (there were many)...

...So the Blue Dogs have no choice but to tear their party apart. The anger and hatred the Dems in the hyper-leftie coalitions (CPC, CBC, CHC - Congressional Progressive, Black, & Hispanic Caucuses respectively) harbor for the Blue Dogs has become volcanic.

That will be fun to watch!

Dr. Wheeler makes some fantastic points and the three groups he pointed out that you listed are radical parts of the Dem party and unfortunately the majority now. The Blue Dogs have their work cut out for them but Dems that support them may well increase in numbers with the current actions of the liberal left.

You’re sure right, it’s going to be fun to watch.

I’m kind of excited about this Dr. Wheeler, I’d never run across him but I’m sure he’s been around. I expect he’ll be writing more good stuff. :)

When the Clintons, for whom I voted by the way, since I had been a life long democrat, had been in the White House for about 6 months, it became clear that they were running it like a criminal enterprise.

So, I love this country and woke up to what a disaster they were bringing to it and to us.

But I think they set something in motion that has allowed the entire government to be run pretty much openly as a criminal enterprise, which is what we have now.

There is so much work to do if this is to be remedied.

I don’t doubt at all you’re correct. I believe deep down that there are more than enough good people in our country to reverse this, many of them just have to be awakened.
