Ok, this is NOT by accident. Not by coincidence. It has to be by plan.
But, the last two days, we've suddenly been treated to authors suddenly writing that the "birtherism" is killing the GOP.
It's a coherent theme, more a meme, really.

Intense questioning of a single miscreant usually yields usable investigatory leads. Just pick up and let’s ask them.
>>Anyone got ideas? How do we find the source?<<
ayers and soros.
These people are rather stupid. Instead of letting the issue lay fallow, they keep it going.
Methinks the TOTUS-reader’s eminence grice handlers doth protest too much.
My take since last summer: following up on Wonder Boy’s birth certificate is all well and good, but our main focus should be on his failures as a President.
But it is interesting to me though that all this talk about the birth certificate seems to have come up again over the past week.
The political elite of both parties.New world order types?Who knows.I dont put anything past any of these low lifes in dc.
If the birthers win, Biden becomes POTUS under what's left of our constitution and Hillary is Vp. That shuts the GOP down in 2010 and 2012 so Coulter, et al. are in counterspin to shut us up so Obama can either destroy himself closer to 2010 or 2012 , OR, the bad buys expose him and take him down in time for a GOP victory. Theo GOP has no plan as to how to govern so they are hoping to beat Obama by default. We are screwing up the timing for them so they are howling...
The memo must have went out to the radio show hosts about the Fairness Doctrine yesterday or the day before. the radio networks/syndicators were probably threatened. Rush joked about it saying he will be off the air by the end of the year.
My guess is the lesser shows and pundits caved today to Alinsky tactics. Ingraham, Coulter, Medved, Hewitt, Boortz, and a few others. O’Reilly (the bore) also drank the KoolAide. Coulter gets on Larry King the next day.
The big guys like Savage, Hannity, Rush and Levin (under Rush’s umbrella) are probably debating and will say nothing. They will watch to see what happens to Lou Dobbs.
Let me tell you - if there was nothing there - they would not be follwoing Obama’s orders.
The wake up calls were Capt Cook (?) changed orders and Judge Carter getting the case in CA. This is heating it all up.
This is a Catch 22 and the only thing they may break the logjam/coverup is a massive case where thousands of troops question eligibility.
You are most likely closer to the truth than anyone here would like to admit.
I think lucifer finally has a majority on the payroll.....
Gotta be Mittens and Manor Bush. The Bushes (I've been telling everyone who'll listen) were already tilting toward Romney in November, 2007, at the candidate meet-and-greet Bush 41 sponsored. Remember how the Bushes gave subtle signals that Mittens was the Anointed One, how they gave him first-among-equals treatment when greeting and speaking with him during photo-ops.
That's how the Old Boys' Club does it, has done it, for 100 years and more.
Mittens got the old Key Club Tap. McCain eventually got the nomination, but the Bushes were for Mittens first. And now, they're at it again -- as in that "Listen to the People" Bushwah that had Jeb traveling around with Romney. He wasn't there to "listen", he was "walking Mitt around", showing him off to the faithful as the Heir Apparent.
Ergo, you know now who's doing it.
Romney and his clientele, the Bush family (senior, not Dubya), and the Republican Yacht Club.
They're letting all the hoi polloi know that Sarah and the Southerners are to be Frozen Out. Bush Sr. despises Southern Republicans -- really despises them. All Kluxers, you see, totally below the salt.
Because they're the old Jacksonians -- bumpkins, plowmen and forest dwellers, most of all "Little People"! Ants to be stepped on, human resources to be organized and, if necessary, given a taste of the lash. Like in 1861.
Get the picture?
Oh boy. If it was only so easy.
Same source as all them endless, baseless “ethics” complains against Gov Palin, and all them nasty attack stories in the press against her: The usual suspects, Soros, Rahm Emmanuel and the 0bama attack machine, etc. The press are in their pockets anyways, so it's not hard for them to set it all up.
What is a Mittens and Manor??????
Even google doesn’t recognize the term.
I cant argue against that.
On September 8, 2004, Dan Rather cited exclusive information, including documents to justify major CBS Evening News and 60 Minutes stories alleging that George W. Bush shirked his duties when he was in the Texas Air National Guard in the 1960s and 1970s. Within a few hours of those documents being posted on CBS Newss Web site, however, typography experts voiced skepticism that the documents had actually originated with their alleged author and Bushs former commanding officer, the late Lt. Colonel Jerry Killian. As the evidence mounted, Rather stubbornly clung to the idea that his story was bulletproof, and he derided critics as partisans and Internet rumormongers. When he apologized on September 20, Rather would not concede that the documents were forgeries, only that he and CBS could no longer vouch for their authenticity.
CBS Disregarded Experts, Challenged Laura Bush: ABCs Brian Ross reported on the September 14 World News Tonight that two experts hired by CBS News say the network ignored concerns they raised prior to the broadcast about the disputed National Guard records. But over on CBS, reporter John Roberts wondered why President Bush wasnt taking those memos seriously: The President has yet to weigh in on new documents about his National Guard record made public last week by 60 Minutes. Roberts also chastised First Lady Laura Bush for doubting CBSs memos were authentic: Laura Bush offered no evidence to back up her claim, and CBS News continues to stand by its reporting.
Sticking By His Smear: On September 10, Dan Rather responded to charges the memos he cited as proving Bushs dereliction were forged, telling his CBS Evening News audience that the memos were genuine and attacking any doubters as partisan rumor-mongers. Today, on the Internet and elsewhere, some people, including many who are partisan political operatives, concentrated not on the key questions of the overall story, but on the documents that were part of the support of the story, Rather castigated. But his lame defense ignored key challenges to the documents typography and content, and the doubts voiced by the widow and son of the supposed author, the late Lt. Col. Jerry Killian. Instead, Rather chose to repeat his indictment of President Bushs National Guard service. Rather arrogantly concluded: If any definitive evidence to the contrary of our story is found, we will report it. So far there is none. (CyberAlert, September 11, 2004)
Not necessarily. The Courts or Congress might direct the Electoral College to reconvene and "do 'er again".
No way does Hillary get VP. The new President would make that call, whoever it is. And Joe Biden wouldn't take guff off the Clintons. Neither would anyone else chosen by the Electors -- although on second thought, in that scenario, the Democrat Electors would "probably" elect Hillary President, although she could fall short of a majority and fade in subsequent balloting.
</thinking out loud>
It’s touching isn’t it? All these normally rabid leftists like U.S. News and World Report, et. al. that are suddenly worried about the future of the GOP.
