It is nearly impossible to go anywhere in the United States of America today and not sense the oppressive sexual culture in which we live. It is a subliminal, hypnotic barrage of immoral images, lewd language and erotic enticements that consciously and subconsciously affects our entire nation. It has gone so far that we have become a base and morally callous people. Where can anyone go today without being continuously bombarded by the 24/ 7 decadent drumbeat of this licentious orchestra? We have indeed become a Red Light District nation!
This hypnotic drum beat comes from all different sources of media: TV, radio, the internet, billboards, advertising, the music industry, the fashion world, Hollywood, the sports world, newspapers, magazines, tabloids, classrooms, college campuses, government,
.and on and on. Every facet of life has been affected. Every nook and cranny of American culture has been permeated and contaminated with this sickening vice. Teaching and preaching the moral values and virtues that are vital to preserve a healthy society brings only hate and slander from the vast secular faction here in the United States.

You can’t legislate morality.
Sure you can. All legislation is legislating morality (positive), and so is the lack of legislation (negative). Usually, people who make your statement merely say it because they don't want to see one particular kind of morality legislated. But the statement is prima facie ridiculous.
“You cant legislate morality.”
But you can teach it.
BTW as teaching of morality has declined the number of laws attempting to counter the lack of morals have increased dramatically. So while your slogan is catchy it is not factual.
Of course you can. Law itself is essentially legislated morality.
I read this interesting paper in which a Dr. (of something, can’t remember) stated that he believed all of the overt sexuality that is foisted upon the Western world is to basically keep as many as males as possible driven by their hormones like a group of adolescent boys. He said it makes them easier to control.
I don’t think you understand the meaning fo that saying. (Either that, or I don’t).
You can indeed pass laws which attempt to regulate ~behavior~, but you’ll nevere legislate morality.
Take drugs for instance. We sure passed laws against them, but did they stop people from doing them?
How about moonshiners, prostitutes, etc.?
I maintain it is factual, and I think your comment proves my point.
Yes, it can be taught (not the gvt’s job though). You mention the increase of laws “attempting” to legislate morality.
How are those workin’ out by the way?
From ABC's upcoming sitcom "The Modern Family"
ABC, pushing the homosexual agenda for the whole family's entertainment!.
Can you legislate immorality?
It seems to me you are legislating one thing or the other.
Sorry but that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Please tell me ONE law that isn't someone's idea of "morality".
When a liberal says they want 5 year olds to be exposed to sex education - that an expression of their morality.
So come on - give me one.
I was taking the meaning the way it is usually meant when someone makes the statement you did - which is that, for some reason, it's illegitimate to pass laws against various types of vices. If that's not how you meant it, then I retract my criticism.
Perhaps so, though I would take issue with the notion that the vices don't harm other people. Personally, I think the term "victimless crime" is a nonsensical, though I think most issues should be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to examine the damage they do to society. When a certain type of behaviour does damage to society, then it by definition does harm to other people.
I think it comes with time and progress. The more time we have for recreation, the more different means of recreation will develop. if we could just go back to the old days, before electricity was developed, we’d be a lot more busy just trying to stay alive, and wouldn’t have time for all this sex stuff.
Sure you can, we have laws against murder, slander, libel, stealing, fraud and on and on...
I hope you are being sarcastic because just about every law (criminal) is based on morality.

Michael Savage said something like that. Many times.
