Senate Democrats are worried that Barbara Boxer doesn't have the chops to get the climate change bill through the Senate.
From the Politico
A big chunk of the House climate change bill is in the hands of Senate Environment and Public Works Committee Chairwoman Barbara Boxer and some of its supporters are worried that shes not up to the task.
In private conversations, Senate staffers say that Boxers abrasive personal style helped tank the climate bill that Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) and former Sen. John Warner (R-Va.) sponsored last year. And several recent embarrassing episodes involving the California Democrat have them worried about a repeat performance.

If by “chops” they mean “brains”, then I agree.
Just Boxer.....COME ON!!! What the....?
Yes Ma’am
Babs really offended some Blacks by talking down to Alford, in that condescending slow-speak that betrayed her attitude that he was mentally inferior.
"... and I'm the most loveable woman you've ever met! Do you hear me?
DO YOU HEAR ME!!!?"
I vote for too dense. And whoever told her that frosted hair looked good?
Preemptive excuse for Senate walking away from this p.o.s.
“That’s ‘Senator Bitch’ to you! I’ve worked so hard for that title!”
I’d think that her nasty little comment to the general about him calling her ma’am might have a small part in this too.
“Dems Worry That Boxer Is Too Abrasive”
The Dems don’t seem to worry about Obama, Reid, Kennedy, Frank, Pelosi and scores of others being too abrasive.
If she were sandpaper, she’d be double ought grit.
'Coprolitic' would do nicely as a description, as would 'incompetent'.
Possibly the definitive one in her case, though, would be 'anencephalic'.
Agreed. And if you watch video of the confrontation you can see her close her eyes at one point. That is a classic signal that she thinks the whole issue is beneath her and she wants it (and Alford) to go away!
“Stupid” works for me.
so much fun to watch the Democrat Congress, now that the snake is starting to eat itself
