OBAMA FAILS TO CONNECT THE DOTS
THE FREEDOM POST ^ | July 22, 2009 | TheCapitalist

President Obama said on Wednesday that his healthcare monstrosity must be passed without delay, (like every other big spending bill he wants passed) saying that rising costs were the main driver behind his federal deficits. However, he failed to articulate how he would pay for the expansion, in the very same government programs of concern, and failed to make clear how his reform would save money. It won't. The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) says so, and Mr. Obama knows this.

Is it just me, or has he completely lost it, and that was his worst performance to date? It was the same smooth voice, he tried to be charming, it was the same seemingly unassuming presentation, but it was a flat, droning wonk-fest. What he said was “blah, blah, blah, blah-blah-blah” when he wasn’t making absurd claims that the government, not doctors, should determine what tests sick people should have and whether children should have their tonsils out. There was no there there.

I loved the part where the government is going to pay for it, but they won’t control it. In the words of the most wise Irish woman I have ever met (my mom) “ I am eighty years old, and I may not know everything, but I know when I am being bullshyted”

This press conference will haunt him the rest of his (hopefully one term) presidency. He sounded ridiculous...the notion he is the most articulate President of all-time was smashed. He looked and sounded RIDICULOUS.

No, it's not just you. I couldn't understand what he was saying - he was just gabbing, gabbing, gabbing to run out the clock without answering the question. It really was pathetic.

I just watched it. His rambling on about everything under the sun was horrid. This guy is STILL campaigning for the job. This idiot is way over his head.

No, it's not just you. This guy is one of the doofiest guys ever to occupy the Oval Office. The message in his eyes as he was gabbling was "WTF do I say now? WTF do I say now? WTF do I say now? Did I say enough to go on to another questioner?"

The guy’s got just enough awareness to read whatever his handlers put in front of him. A real brainstem.

The marxist crypto-muslim from Kenya is fast approaching his Ceausescu moment.

Socialists cans steal money and power through the legislative process to a point, and then have to rely on armed robbery.

NATIONALIZATION OF THE HEALTH INSURANCE SYSTEM IS ARMED ROBBERY.

THIS IS THE SOCIALIST HOSPITAL WORKERS UNION THUG LIAR , HUSSEIN BARAKAS POLITICAL DIRECTOR, THE GOEBBELS LIKE PROPAGANDIST WHO WRITES OBAMAS SPEECHES AND IS BEHIND THE SCENES PUSHING THE QUICK PASSAGE OF SOCIALIZED MEDICINE TO BENEFIT THE SEIU

Politicians and strategists praise Patrick Gaspard highly, although he stays away from the limelight.

"Patrick is the best political mind of his generation in New York and maybe the nation," says Kevin Sheekey, who as Michael Bloomberg's right-hand-man has frequently worked and battled with Gaspard.

"I wouldn't dispute that," said David Axelrod, Obama's chief strategist and Gaspard's cohort on the campaign trail. When reminded that such a title could be bestowed on Axelrod himself, the strategist said he was "happy to cede that" to Gaspard.

The Washington Post, among others, has announced that a longtime labor operative of Barack Obama's, Patrick Gaspard, will be named Obama's White House political director.

Gaspard served as national political director for much of Obama's general election campaign and was named deputy director of personnel for the transition effort. Prior to his work with Obama, Gaspard was the lead political operative for the 1199 branch of the Service Employees International Union, a huge and hugely influential union representing health care workers in New York. He spent the 2004 general election as the national field director for America Coming Together.

Gaspard was featured prominently in Ryan Lizza's recent New Yorker piece detailing how Obama won. Of his job interview with the Illinois Senator, Gaspard recalled Obama saying: "I think that I'm a better speechwriter than my speechwriters. I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I'll tell you right now that I'm gonna think I'm a better political director than my political director."

Exhibit “A” on why he is so dependent on his teleprompter.

The guy is an idiot, plain and simple.

His stupidity and self-contradictions, often in the same sentence are just staggering.

Just the other day, he said the stimulus hasn’t had time to help the economy, then he opens tonight claiming the stimulus saved the economy from collapsing.

This guy is in way over his head and is so arrogant that he believes he is smart enough to fool people.

I don’t think the country can survive 3.5 more years of this.

This guy should be in a circus, not the White House.

Unbelievable.

I don’t know. I’d like to think that was the case, but it really reminded me of how he assessed 0bama’s performances in debates with McCain. Essentially, it doesn’t matter what he says, because he’s so good at saying it. If Charles did say he was being sarcastic or something along these lines, I missed it, because I turned him off after about 30 seconds.
