Sotomayor's political views and her negligence

You might not know what Sonia Sotomayor stands for after the Senate hearings conducted earlier this week, in which she avoided critical political questions. Some of these questions included her position on abortion and gun rights, which should leave you asking questions about her and what she will really do when she goes into the supreme court. She has ‘said’ that she doesn’t rule on issues according to law and not to her liberal views. However, you don’t know how she will rule on these cases because she will not give a straight answer. You want one? She will vote liberal for just about everything. Yes, maybe she will vote conservative once in awhile, but you just can’t know.

Sotomayor dodged too many political questions during her hearing to be able to accurately determine her views. Of course, we all know she is a leftie since Obama chose her. This article shows how she is anti-gun and anti-life.

Certainly the worst USSC nominee this century. I won’t place her as dumb as Barbara Boxer.

I am so upset about this. We can’t defeat her or anyone else on ideology.....but she is in a very rare position. Has any Supreme Court nominee ever had as many of her opinions overturned as Sotomayor has? And by the Supreme Court yet?? The bottom line is, whatever our ideological positions are, or what hers are - the bigger issue is that she has had too many of her opinions overturned by the very court she is assuming to join. This screams UNQUALIFIED!!!! I posed this last week, and someone said “oh, wait, they’re not through questioning her yet.” And they STILL haven’t asked her this most important question. Sorry if I scream, but this makes me angry. It’s so simple, and yet it gets so overlooked. It’s really the only thing that matters.
