Recently fired former Americorp IG has filed suit in federal court demanding his job back.
Gerald Walpin, the AmeriCorps inspector general who was summarily fired in June amid controversy over his investigation of a politically-connected supporter of President Obama, has filed suit alleging that the firing was "unlawful," "politically driven," "procedurally defective" and "a transparent and clumsily-conducted effort to circumvent the protections" given to inspectors general under the Inspectors General Reform Act of 2008.

I’m not a lawyer but I expect the defendants will move for summary judgment.
Any of our lawyers willing to weigh in on the likely outcome if they do?
If there are no disputable facts, Walpin could well win on summary judgment, assuming the judge was not in the tank for Obama.
Take it to the Supreme Court if need be. I applaud someone having the courage to do what the politicians won’t - stand up to this sorry excuse for a President!
The really funny part is that Obozo was a co-sponsor of the bill that is biting him in the Obama
Appears his only way to bring the facts into the open...I wish him lots of luck along with prayers.
Next?
Thanks for keeping this alive!
This guy needs to file an age discrimination suit. A jury would love to hear about the way Ubama and his mobsters tried to paint Walpin as confused and disconnected, etc.
That's a big assumption. Ubama's dirt machine will begin dredging up dirt the minute a judge is named, if it's not the judge they shopped for.
He'll be much better off with a straight suit for being fired period - it's doubtful that there is any documentation showing that he was 'confused' or not doing the job, etc. This firing going way beyond age discrimination, it's in some ways criminal.
hope he demands proof that Obama is a natural born citizen and has the power to fire him!
