This could really grow legs if Sarah Palin would make it an issue;)

Can you imagine what kind of ruckus that would start in MSM. They would have no ‘fall back’ position. They have tried to kill Sarah’s political career...what can they do? Kill her again?

Perhaps someone in the Alaska National Guard could try this tactic????????

I think he volunteered simply so that he could make a run at Obama’s legitimacy. It’s not unusual when a fraudulent or class action situation exists for someone to step forward to be the client. This was just a high stakes game.

Cook has guts. He made a run at it and if he had been successful in legally unseating someone who unconstitutionally assumed power, and continues to operate in unconstitutional modes, he would have been the ONE federal officer who fulfilled his oath. And he would have deserved the Medal of Honor or something!

Well it's cost him his job, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if it costs him his commission in the end. Hope it was worth it.

Well, a lot of soldiers people have given their lives, limbs, and mental health for our freedom. We are in serious, deep trouble. Maj. Cook did what he could. Too bad he didn’t make it to the discovery phase. We might have learned a lot.

If the Treasury wasn't so busy printing Obamah Dollars, the administration could use those high-tech printers to replicate a BC in any form needed.

I predict that will eventually happen at some point in time.

I sat in front of the computer with a retired "Light Chicken"(Lt Col) that was the Inspector General for this particular region several years ago. He has nothing but the highest praise for Major Cook's actions in defense of the Constitution, but is very concerned about the tactics that the military is using.

We found two very interesting sites: http://www.orlytaitzesq.com/blog1/ and http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=104208

Apparently this Major was not a light weight within the Army since he was attached to SOCOM and worked with a major defense contractor: http://www.simtech-inc.com. IMO, this man has sacrificed everything to keep the oath that he swore to protect the Constitution. This is especially poignant given that most citizens that call themselves conservatives would not think of making any sacrifice for this country, and certainly no Liberal would.

I think we will all have an opportunity to look back on this time in the very near future and wish we had done things differently.

God Bless Major Cook! I wish we had a thousand men of intregrity like him.

It never would have made it past the defense's motion to dismiss due to lack of standing. Same as the other suits.

Granted this may have been the Pointe du Hoc of legal efforts, but the guy deserves more than a “hope it was worth it.” I wouldn’t wander around Walter Reed and tell wounded warriors, “hope it was worth it.”

If we have been the victim of a massive fraud in electing Obama, Cooks actions could have exposed it. The risk to him, personally, was and is high. But who can question the value of his actions? I don’t know the truth about Obama, but why all the secrecy in this supposedly transparent administration?

Those who are not a part of the military, especially in time of war, have no idea what it is or what it stands for, and certainly not the kind of day-to-day effort it takes on the part of a member of the armed forces, and the member's family, to keep America the great military force the world has ever known. And I know of no way to teach them. We'll just have to consider the source of such comments and get back to supporting our troops. Anything that takes away from that vital effort is a waste.

All I know is what he told Steve Malzberg: that he requires clearance to do his civilian job, and that the DoD pulled his clearance.

*****

Obama: Does anyone know what type of clearance check Senator or President Obama had to go through before he could take office?

1. Was it a very intense, very detailed type of background check?

2. That is, did president-elect Obama have to present his long form Hawaii birth certificate in order to pass an intense, detailed clearance check?

3. For instance, did the soldier have to present his birth certificate in order to pass an intense clearance check?

4. Did the soldier go through a more intense background check than president-elect Obama went through? Thanks.

Cook is an “individual mobilization augmentee"

That's terrible that he lost his legs. Was it during battle? ;)

If we have been the victim of a massive fraud in electing Obama, Cooks actions could have exposed it.

And how, exactly? What made his case different from all the other cases that have been thrown out because the plaintiff lacked the legal standing to sue? Where was his different? Other servicemen have tried suing and none of them got to square one. Why was Cook different? His reasons for suing were nothing but could be's and might be's, completely theoretical and not a bit concrete. That doesn't meet the legal definition of standing. Cook went down the same path, and his suit would have met the same fate, as all the others. And if Einstein's definition of insanity as doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is true, then the whole suit was nuts to begin with.

It would be interesting indeed if Sarah Palins birth certificate the long form was spread across the internet, and where is Obamas? Who then has the requirements as written by law in the US Constitution?

I believe the judge in Georgia ended up throwing this case to Florida, where the serviceman resides.

It means the Dept of Defense said “We don’t want that guy you have employed who sued the military for proof that his Commander in Chief be actually proven as the legal CiC to work on any contracts you have with us.”

Which basically means the Dept of Defense forced the contracting company he worked for as a civilian to fire him, although technically he isn’t “Fired”, but just can’t work on any projects since ALL of their projects are with the DoD.

National Guard would not work. They report to the governor of their state - so they would have no “standing” to challenge Obama’s eligibility and thus authority to issue orders. Chain of command for active duty military and Reserve goes up to the Commander in Chief (US president).
