Obama Frees Iranian Terror Masters (Obama Traded Quds for Saberi?)
National Review ^ | 07/11/2009 | Andrew McCarthy

There are a few things you need to know about President Obama’s shameful release on Thursday of the “Irbil Five” — Quds Force commanders from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) who were coordinating terrorist attacks in Iraq that have killed hundreds — yes, hundreds — of American soldiers and Marines.

Another reason why we've got to take back control of our government. This particular act is obviously treasonous in both intent and effect.

Wow, this is worse then Carter, not even he was dumb enough to do those things, the Quds members were like Company leaders of jihaddies, now he just waved them on through for our good friends in Tehran.

Sooner or later, this will come back to haunt us, Obamao is giving away what Bush won on the battlefield and it is weak and smells weak, sooner or later there will be another major terror attack as they have reason to fear a reprisal in response.

Far worse than Carter. This man would literally endanger the US to ‘make a deal’ with an untrustworthy enemy

Beneath the easy smile and above-it-all manner — the “neutral” doing his best to weigh competing claims — is a radical leftist wedded to a Manichean vision that depicts American imperialism as the primary evil in the world.

Interesting description of Obama as Manichean. No surprise. He is guided by a similar narcissism as that of the cult's founder:

His 'divine' Twin or true Self brought Mani to Self-realization and as such he becomes a gnosticus, someone with divine knowledge and a liberating insight into things. He claimed to be the Paraclete of the Truth, as promised in the New Testament: the Last Prophet and Seal of the Prophets that finalized a succession of men guided by God and included figures such as Zoroaster, Hermes, Plato, Buddha, and Jesus.[Wikipedia}

No doubt Obie sees himself in much the same light.

“Iran is still supporting, funding, training surrogates who operate inside of Iraq — flat out. . . . They have not stopped. And I don’t think they will stop. I think they will continue to do that because they are also concerned, in my opinion, [about] where Iraq is headed.”

Iran wants Iraq. Freeing these men speeds that up. Now, 0bama can move along the process to lose so he can say he was right all along and that ‘we lost’ when we WON.

This is an absurdity. No, in reality it is traitorous, and it should be asked what Republican will challenge Obama on this despicable event? Certainly not John McCain, or the the other spineless bastards in the Senate. Can one hope the House Republicans will grow a pair?

Thanks, never would have known about this outrage, which goes as much to the true nature of Obama as anything he has done. This is something that should have brought Cheney snarling and snapping to the full extension of his chain and given voice even to the timorous ex-prez Bush. Clever timing to release when Rush and Beck on vacation, but shame on Hannity for being more interested in the wandering gaze rather than the further endangerment of our armed forces.
