Peggy Noonan is now old and wondering the pasture...and looking back...
and Sarah Palin is young and beautiful with eyes to the future....

Why does Peggy Noonan find Sarah Palin so distasteful? Presumably, I am told, it's because Noonan worships at the altar of Ronald Reagan, and Palin is no Reagan. Female friends of mine tell me of a deeper hatred: Noonan is troubled by Palin's family first policy -- that nagging and annoying call from nature which reminds humanity of its proper priorities.
Whatever the case, in today's Wall Street Journal Noonan assembles her arsenal, sharpens her nails, and unleashes her most disturbing and unhealthy attack so far on Sarah Palin. Here are a few tidbits:
"In television interviews she was out of her depth in a shallow pool. She was limited in her ability to explain and defend her positions, and sometimes in knowing them. She couldn't say what she read because she didn't read anything. She was utterly unconcerned by all this and seemed in fact rather proud of it: It was evidence of her authenticity. She experienced criticism as both partisan and cruel because she could see no truth in any of it. She wasn't thoughtful enough to know she wasn't thoughtful enough."
But Queen Peggy is just warming up. To those in the Republican Party who argued that Palin made the party seem more inclusive, Noonan snaps back:
"She makes the party look stupid, a party of the easily manipulated."
Noonan argues, incredibly, that what ultimately destroyed Sarah Palin was Palin's lack of modesty. Palin should have accepted her "inadequacy" -- she should have known her place in other words:
"Her lack of any appropriate modesty did her in. Actually, it's arguable that membership in the self-esteem generation harmed her. For 30 years the self-esteem movement told the young they're perfect in every way.

Noonan is a has-been who misses the limelight. She writes about Sarah because that is the only way she can get attention from the Left-wing media, and she craves attention.
Ignore her or she may get the impression that she is still relevant.
Noonan is the classic example of why party doesn’t matter anymore. It’s The Elite vs. The Rest of Us.
And guess which side Prissy Peggy is on.
Jealousy brings out the worst in people.
Peggy wants all people to humble themselves to her brilliance. She has talked herself into believing she has authority over all the sub-humans.
She is a product of the self-esteem generation that needs a big government crutch and an "I'm smart and cool" crowd to fulfill their fantasy of omnipotence over the peons.
How very rulerish and narcissistic of her. Just the type of "Republican" the old KGB would want to recruit.
Even for an opinion writer, this column by Noonan totally discredits her as a serious thinker. It was vicious, unprofessional, and totally based on emotions.
Noonan has gone over to edge and crashed on the rocks below.

What this translates to: Palin did not come from certain stock, certain schools therefore, she is catagorized as unpolished not ready for primetime. I like her but I also know the mindset of the Noonans, Brooks and the Quinns of this world and they are not pleasant people. There smugness and arrogance envelopes them as a whole. My recommendation for Sarah, just be who you are and be prepared to be Goliath against the Snobs. I have dealt with the likes of this species and you have to stand your ground with them and not give them an inch and you thought Bruno was fake. One has not encountered fakeness until one has met up with this particular species./Just Asking - seoul62......

Peggy’s dementia has started setting in, so she needs to get out of the limelight. Does she have any children to see about her?

Did someone say destroy? Sometimes it takes a team effort, mainline Republicans and those Dem liberals.
Mainline Republicans see 1960s Marxist-Alinsky street rabble-cum-Rat Party (formerly the traditional, patriotic Democratic Party) attacking a Party member who's not "one of them" and their response?

Mainline Republicans don't have the guts to confront the Rat Party's tactics.. or is it something else?

Some of these women are so transparent, they could function as windows.
The elite media know that Palin has a degree in journalism. She knows how they operate. This is one of the reasons they want to eliminate her.
