With the release of a letter written by Obama that "clarifies" where he was born... comes more confusion than ever. Now we have THREE different reported places of birth from sources within the Obama family. I wonder why there's so much confusion about this?

BTW, the rational people on the thread don't think that comparing spending $22 million to hide the truth, is a gratuitious or even a particularly bad comparison to spending over $1 million to hide the truth.

No, if you want to see a copout or a dodge, State of New Jersey asked a relative of mine for a study on how much it would cost to fix the Kuser mansion to make it usable.
He said ‘two million’.
State of New Jersey spent fifteen point two million to tear it down.
Then turned around and requested a new building wioth the exact same amount of usable square footage that the Kuser mansion had.
THAT’S a copout or a dodge.

No point. If you can’t recognize a clumsy forgery of a birth certificate, how would you discern the validity of a GED or diploma?
Apply the theory of Occam’s Razor to Hussein’s behavior in this matter, which postulates that in a field of competing hypotheses, the simplest explanation is the most likely one.
If you believe that Hussein is a legitimate president, then you must believe that he is willing to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on armies of lawyers to keep his birth on United States soil a secret from the American people.
The simplest explanation for this otherwise inexplicable behavior is that if the requisite documents are produced, they will show that he is constitutionally ineligible to be president of the United States.

I draw the opposite conclusion when applying Occam’s Razor. For a very small investment, he can cast his opponents as foaming conspiracy loonies.
There are plenty of real, plainly evident failures of BHO that we can and should be working. The BC is the wrong one to pursue.
He isn’t doing it. He sends legions of proxies and trolls to do the work for him. I’m not speaking about the opinions on the natural born citizenship issue, I’m speaking about the facts of the natural born citizen issue. They simply lie about and distort them. The minute Hussein speaks to this issue it becomes news, and then even the mainstream media has to investigate those facts. So in a Mafia Don like fashion, he sends his button men out to do his dirty work.
There are so many criminal and corruption aspects of this administration that there is plenty of fodder for everyone. We can walk and chew gum at the same time. This is the most important issue of this administration. We have a lying crypto Marxist demagogue who has usurped the presidency through fraud and deceit, and refuses to provide the documentation that establishes his natural born citizenship. Do you really think there is any sort of tyranny that such a man would not be willing to impose upon us to maintain his power? I think such a man would do just about anything that he thought he could get away with, and he must be stopped or forced to prove that he is constitutionally qualified for this office. We must not surrender in this endeavor or we will surrender the Constitution and our traditional liberties to the most radical bastard ever to ever hold the office.
In the reasonable person would conclude that this matter is unprecedented in American history. Notice that is our side that is trying to get this matter into a court on the merits so that we can get at least get a precedental ruling for the future. It’s the trolls and the Obamunists that are trying to keep the matter concealed and out of the courts.
They are not interested in the truth or the Constitution. They want to protect the criminal in the White House.
I am in agreement with your points, your premise, and your passion. However, he and his minions recognize that the BC issue prompts a visceral, conspiratorial reaction in his opponents. That only plays in his favor, especially if he is (as is likely) a natural born citizen.
