Here is video of New York Congressman Peter King who continues to stand by his strong comments about Michael Jackson. King called Jackson a "pervert" several days ago prior to Jackson's funeral. He tells Bill O'Reilly he stands behind every word he said. He refutes charges of racism that has been leveled against him that his comments were racially motivated. . . . . (Watch Video)

Rep King is obviously a demented pervertophobe. He needs help.
Pete King is one of the few bright spots in Long Island politics.
:::sigh::: What an idiotic thing to say publicly.
People who practice sexual perversions like homosexuality and pedophilia are perverts. If they don’t like the title, they shouldn’t live the part. There is nothing wrong with the language. The problem is with our pop culture that believes not calling something what it is will change the nature of the thing. Don’t call a cat a cat, if you want it to be a dog. Michael Jackson was a pervert. Pop culture should try being offended by that, not by someone saying it.
How dare he criticize our nation’s most beloved pedophile?
BTW...Williston Park rocks!
> :::sigh::: What an idiotic thing to say publicly.
Your leftist acquaintances have no problems saying even worse about you when your back is turned.
Or maybe even to your face.
That’s so true. The left can say just about anything without coming under attack. Look at how they treated Palin and her family.
Michael admitted to sleeping with children so I don’t see anything wrong with King’s statement.
::sigh::: What an idiotic thing to say publicly.
Yeah, when will these silly half-way conservatives realize it’s best to just agree with the left and be PC, rather than take a stand and tell the truth. After all, it’s what worked for McCain!
Yeah, he has the right to say it. Doesn't mean it isn't idiotic.
I have no doubt. That doesn't mean this wasn't an idiotic thing to say for a politician. It served no useful purpose, and probably insulted many that he supposedly represents for no good reason.
So what's the controversy - Jacko was a pervert.
> It served no useful purpose, and probably insulted many
> that he supposedly represents for no good reason.
Yes, but against you, the accusations are false.
Against MJ, they are likely true.
And, unlike MJ, you aren’t lifted up as an icon and an idol to millions, and not nearly so many people will be “mourning” your passing.
But I’ll agree with you that it was bullheaded for Rep. King to say that.
There are plenty of other targets to skewer, even more deserving of opprobriam than MJ, because the damage they do is far more pervasive.
King did not JUST call MJ a pervert. He called him a CHILD MOLESTER and a PEDOPHILE. He stands by his statement. I sincerely hope he finds himself with need to prove it.
Let me ask you a question, please answer yes or no. Does sleeping next to someone, in the same room, or even in the same bed always mean SEX? Yes, or no?
No, sleeping in a bed with someone does not necessarily mean sex happened. Now, a question for you:
Considering that none of us, unless McCaulay Culkin is a Freeper, were in that bedroom, would you be comfortable enough to take money from a rich guy that did a lot of drugs and had serious emotional problems, and let your ten year old son spend the night at his house, sleeping in his bed, secure in the knowledge that nothing went on except, "milk and cookies, tucking him in, it was all very sweet?"
For me, I don't believe that MJ was a pedophile, in fact, I've been leaning towards the theory (as crazy as this sounds) that he may have been a castrato, or eunuch, which would explain so much about him, if true. And it would mean that he had little to no sex drive at all. That would explain his naivety that dirty-minded people don't understand that sleeping in the same bed can nonsexual.
But to answer your question, I wouldn't leave my kids with him alone overnight - not because I think he was a sexual predator, because I don't, but because of the drug abuse and emotional problems (that got worse the last few years of his life). I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my kids alone overnight with anyone who obviously needs help with emotional problems and drug addiction.
