Last night on YGCRadio, a caller seemed to be suffering from the same dysfunction that viewers of MSNoBodyCares suffer from namely Palin Derangement Syndrome. Our caller is already so in the bag for Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty it caused me to speculate if he resides under Tims desk! The exchange got me to wondering if the GOP is riddled with this same dysfunction. It also caused me to do some deep analysis of Gov. Palins surprise resignation.
On the resignation I have come up with a theory*. It is my belief that Gov. Palin will take a stab at unseating Senator Liza Murkowsky. Murkowsky isnt the most reliable GOP vote on the Hill. Shes pro-choice and has voted to open up more lines of embryonic stem cells for research. Each of these is loathsome enough for Conservative voters alone, but combining them puts Murkowsky in a position of weakness against a more socially Conservative challenger such as Sarah Palin.

It certainly has hit Michael Savage!
I disagree. Palin will be better if disencumbered by a gov’t position. Running for Senate makes no sense.
There is no chance that Sarah Palin will run for the Senate. No chance at all. She is going to help elect 50 new Republican Congressman and a handful of Republican Senators in 2010 and raise a pile of money for the Republican Party along the way. In two years she will own the Republican Party.
The short answer is ‘YES’!
Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski has some Republican-to-Republican advice for Gov. Sarah Palin: If you want to make a run at the White House, keep your hands off my Senate seat.
Murkowski, up for reelection in 2010, is nervously awaiting word on whether John McCain’s former running mate will run against her in the GOP primary. But she says Palin is the one who should be nervous.
“I can guarantee it would be a very tough election,” Murkowski said in an interview.

Maybe not Sarah, but why not Todd. That would really piss the Alaska republican establishment off to no end.
PDS is certainly alive and well everywhere now it seems.
Having said that, I wouldn’t mind taking a break and going a half hour without reading her name somewhere.
Anyone know if there is a setting in Firefox that blocks certain words from being displayed? lol
PDS is heavy on FR with the MittWitts & Pawlenty supporters
and especially the third party loons.
PDS affects ALL “elites”.

Palin should drop the GOP label and run as a Fiscally Conservative Independent.
If Tim Pawlenty is our answer to Barack Obama, wake me up in 7 years.
You betcha!
Wait a second, Pawlenty has supporters..since when..the Elitist establishment will NEVER understand Sarah Palin. They will never understand her because they never lived her life, they never grew up poor, they never had to work their asses off to afford college. They see Sarah in the waters of Alaska fishing for her own food and they don’t understand how come she doesn’t go to Ralphs and pick up fish. Sarah pumps her own gas, she doesn’t have a limo driver bringing her to work, she picks her children up from school, she shops for diapers for her son. They don’t understand Sarah and they don’t understand middle America, that is why the GOP Establishment is what it is today, full of elitist snobs who have their noses so damn high in the air they can’t smell reality
Listen up, twinkletoes, not everyone is panting for Palin. There are better choices.
Murkowski seems kinda hostile.
I believe you’re right - and she can do it! Also write her book along the way. I’d love that one!
