New YorkEven though Palins exodus has the media buzzing, there is a quiet whisper in the northeast that this could lead to a 2012 Presidential bid for the White House. Throughout the halls of Harvard and Yale, and in the Washington D.C. beltway, a growing apprehension is turning into fear.
For many conservatives inside the beltway, Palins resignation as Governor of Alaska means only one thing: hoedowns at the White House. This, of course, would be acceptable only to the rubes that occupy flyover countrythe same kind of Americans that dared to elect Ronald Reagan and advocate for the social conservative cause, an unmitigated disaster for all things fine in life.

Im afraid I fear the worst, added Peggy Noonan. All she needs is Buck Owens and a banjo.

I’d rather have the Beverly Hillbillies in the White House than the current lot of rabid metrosexual marxists.
Any day.
In fact, I’d probably vote for Jed Clampett over just about anybody in politics today.
Sarah & Todd Palin are about the closest thing to Jed and Granny we’ve got on the American political scene today, so they’ve got my vote.

I am just sick of the “northeastern” arrogance that they spew and believe that some how they are the appointed royalty of America. I have even begun to wonder if their had been some latent historical grudge in the northeast that has held this resentment that seeks to destroy and rule this free country and run it into the ground for daring to be free for 200 years.
The northeast can fall into the Atlantic, good freepers escaping first, of course.
Ok, tin foil hat is on now.
