Here is video of Gov. Sarah Palin giving an interview to NBC's Andrea Mitchell today in Alaska, where she explained her reasons for resigning as Governor of Alaska. Palin told Mitchell her own legal bills where not a consideration in the decision. Palin at one point tells Mitchell "you are not listening to me" as to why she decided to not put Alaska through any further turmoil with endless bogus ethics investigations.
Mitchell's bias against Palin comes through repeatedly, calling the interview a staged media event, and a "photo op." She also references the wardrobe controversy from the campaign last year. Mitchell said GOP party leaders believe Palin has really "damaged herself" with the resignation. At the very end of the video, Mitchell tells Matt Lauer they could "almost see Russia" from where they did the interview, a mocking reference to Palin's statement to the same effect during the 2008 campaign. No one in the MSM listens. They simply can’t get past their bias....it’s a form of willful incompetence.
Did you watch the interview? I am curious about Sarah’s demeanor I wonder if she was able to answer the questions with solid return and without rancor. Knowing Andrea is not the sharpest tool in the shed and an amazing fit when describing DC snobs, I cannnot help but wonder if Andrea, herself, suffered a bit of shame during the interview.
Why would she give these people more opportunities to make her look bad? I would look into the camera and say: “Andrea Mitchell and the rest of you, and you know who you are, who have treated me and my family like garbage, F OFF!
I despise Mrs. Greenspan. She is an evil woman, and I will not watch whatever crap she’s trying to peddle, ever.
I watch Morning Joe, and turn the channel instantly when Mrs. Greenspan is set to appear.
What a vile human she is.
Andrea is comfortable in her NYC Lib lifestyle. I doubt she knows anyone who voted for Ronnie.
They just can’t take the answer she gives. The MSM, I hope, will realize the raw deal they are giving Palin. She is like pouring salt on a wound to libs....Go Sarah!!!
I watched it and she was cool, cool, cool. Mitchell was doing everything possible to get any tid-bit from Sarah that she could use against her, but Sarah smiles. She drives libs CRAZY.

Sarah has explained herself over and over and over to these numb skulls in the press. I seriously believe they cannot grasp the concept of an honest politician. They keep looking for an angle and apparently can’t consider that there might not be one. Amazing.
I don’t know if Sarah has what it takes to win the presidency, but I sure like what she stands for.
The media. Trying to make a story where none exists. It’s what they do. Like National Inquirer, only lamer.
What’s this hysterical hangup with the “see Russia” comment? Heck, it’s true that some parts of the USA are, indeed, so close to Russia that being neighbors is a reality.
Reminds me, perversely, of a friend commenting on 9/11 reporting going on for weeks after the event: “I’m three THOUSAND miles away from a couple demolished buildings - what do I really care?” Those far from a location should respect those nearby, and vice versa.
Every time I see Andrea Mitchell I cant’t help but think but think of the song ‘At 17’ by Janis Ian.

Sadly though, I’m sure she did it knowing they will just make up sh!t and report it as fact if she denied them access (as they often do with no penalty).
I saw the interview. Mitchel looked and sounded clueless. Sarah nailed her because it was obvious: Andrea wasn’t listening, she was simply reiterating media talking points.
