Seek and Destroy - The War Against Sarah Palin
The Ignorant Fishermen Blog ^ | 7/5/09 | DJP I..F.

Ever since Sarah Palin entered the national political arena last summer as the Republican VP nominee, she has caused sheer panic in the hearts and minds of the Leftist Liberals in America. Accordingly, the Leftist media is hell-bent on doing all they can to discredit Palin’s accomplishments and destroy her character at any cost. Even now, much effort and energy is being expended to deceive the American people regarding her considerable achievements. Her popularity among conservatives is astounding, and many believe that she will get the 2012 endorsement for the presidency.

No if and but, she will win the GOP nomination, except if the RINOS fraud the vote.

If she isn't the nominee, we'll write her name in.

Once she has the nomination, there is no stopping her. Just imagine the debates and townhalls with Obamaprompter! It will be a sight to behold!

John Batchelor: "As a candidate, (Gov. Palin) begins the nomination hunt with a formula
that none of her rivals can match, not even (backstabber RINO) Mitt Romney,
not only because she gave up something in order to go for the
White House but also because she reached this decision by being drafted. ...

"In fact, the governor does not need much more than a ballot line from the aimless,
tongue-tied, villain-rich GOP
. She certainly does not need the GOP to do well
in the congressional mid-terms in 2010; she does not need the party
to improve its flabby polling on health care or trust;
she does not even need the Republican Party to raise a voice
to explain her positions on the burning controversies on Capitol Hill.
Palin does not need to prove anything at all about wise government,
because she appeals directly to the anti-authoritarian crowd that has
been with us since Shay’s Rebellion in 1787."

She explained that it wouldn’t be fair to the citizens of Alaska if all her time was diverted from state business to her personal fight with her political adversaries.

I admire Sarah, and I wish her well, but I'm sorry to see her leave her post as governor.

She is popular. Just on FR alone right now there are at least 10 different threads. The saddest part to me though is she made her statement about why she resigned and people are still speculating and won’t let her just simply rest and get revigorated. The media has been relentless with her. The media was horrible with President Bush, but they have really stepped up their game with Mrs. Palin.

She causes panic in the hearts and minds of the republican “elite”, just the same as the liberals.

The Obama Thugs who have been harrassing Sarah have been working on a false assumption: that, like most politicians, she would fight to hold onto her office, and power, and continue to get bogged down with their outrageous ethics complaints.

Sarah just said, “To hell with this. They’ve made it impossible to be governor. Very well, I’ll continue the fight from another platform.”

She has left those idiot Alaska bloggers sputtering by the side of the road.

She has my vote in 2012.

I'm sorry to see her leave her post as governor.

Sebelius and Napotiano left their governorships for greener pastures. What's the difference?

If she runs, I will be active in her campaign, doing whatever I can to help.

If I were an Alaskan I'd have certainly been a Palin voter and I'll tell you, my number one reaction would be: It's not fair of Palin to let the left run MY choice for governor out of office.

This issue of the left illegally stealing elections is the biggest issue of our age. Palin had a chance to fight that. I don't begrudge her personal desire to say "enough"... but facts are facts.

The number one RIGHT of Alaskan citizens was to have the governor they ELECTED.

The left deprived them of that right.

And Palin chose not to fight back.

If I were an Alaskan, I would have said: I'll pay any tax, put up with any governmental inconvenience, to defend my right to vote.

Palin just let the left deprive Alaskans of their right to vote.

That's not the mark of a great politician. That's not the mark of a Reagan.

First, SHE has to want it and SHE has to run. At this point, I'm not sure she wants to continue in politics (not that I blame her) after the cowardly, relentless attacks on her and her family by the disingenuous media.

If she decides to run in '12, she has my vote, but it has to be her decision. We can't decide for her.

On FOX Radio news this morning, they had that fool Michael Steele saying a Palin run is “off the table” for 2012.
Since when does Michael Steele decide what Sarah Palin’s plans are for the future?

Steele is a joke and needs to resign from the RNC.

The treatment accorded Sarah Palin is not unique.

Any Republican who emerges from the pack at any time to become a viable candidate for President is certain to be attacked by the Democrat/Media Axis. What is more, the attack will be coordinated and vicious, making use of the opposition research dutifully performed by the acolytes of Axelrod and Emmanuel.

The Democrats have a powerful operational advantage over the Republicans both as a matter of strategy and organization, and they will use it to full effect.

Yeah, it's a pity, but as she stated, she'd completed most of what she wanted to accomplish in the office, and trusted that the remainder would be brought to fruition by the Lt. Gov, once he took over the office.

She knew, without a doubt, that the frivilous lawsuits would only continue, and possibly increase, as she went into her final year. Her enemies wanted to write the last chapter in her Governorship as one mired in 'ethical questions', even though those would have been made up out of whole cloth, like the previous 15 had been, and why they were all dismissed. She realized how much time and taxpayer money was being wasted trying to defend the Governor's office against these complaints, and figured that they'd stop when she left the office, because she knew she was the ultimate target.

I'm proud of her. There aren't many politicians these days who would give up that power in order to protect the resources of the citizens of their states.

Palin just let the left deprive Alaskans of their right to vote.

She was going into her final year in the office, and had done most of what she said she'd do when she campaigned for Governor. The man they elected along with her will be taking over the office, so their vote wasn't wasted.
