I think Sarah is loaded for Bear
4th. of July 2009 | b.b.e.b.

Posted on 07/04/2009 10:24:13 AM PDT by big bad easter bunny

I have prediction on what Sarah Pallin is about to do and why. I think David Letterman was the straw that broke the camels back. It was bad enough what the Drive by media did to her during the campaign, not to mention the liberal groups with frivolous charges on ethics, then they turned up the heat after the election, why?

Easy they know if they don't keep tearing her apart two things will happen; Her criticism with Obama will get aired and she could run in the next presidential election and win. So the left thinks it is their best interest to keep slapping her into oblivion. Well Sarah is not the type of person who will let that go on forever, so in the interest of Alaska and the ridiculous suits being started against her administration and the idiots who keep on slamming her she is about to hit back, watch out!

It is my prediction that Sarah intends on being a public person for a while, free of the restraints of her position as a Governor! I believe she is not only going to defend herself and her family, she is about to wipe the pavement clean with the likes of Chris Mathews and his pathetic ilk.

My two cents! Happy 4th.

I agree with you. Charles Krauthammer’s comment reminded me of the scene in “My Fair Lady” when Henry Higgins tells Eliza Doolittle, “Why can’t you be more like me?” All the pundits want Sarah to be more like them, but Sarah insists on being herself.

Sarah isn’t going away, and she is now free to travel extensively out of Alaska. Wherever she goes, people will flock to her. After four years of BO wrecking the economy, Sarah Palin will look awfully good.

WHOOOO HOOOOO!!!!

I think you’re exactly correct.

The lamestream media already has her buried and her political career over .. but I think she’s just getting started. The left may think they have driven her out of politics .. but I agree with you that she is just getting started, and with the restraints of the Governorship removed .. she is now free to say the truth - which is so lacking in our politicians today.

America needs a cheer-leader and I truly believe she is that very person.

I have only one beef with her - I think she supports Amnesty .. and that’s not gonna fly with conservatives.

I support Sarah and she would get my vote, but I really wish she hadn’t decided to quit as AK Gov so soon. It will be exceedingly hard for her shake the image of a “quitter.” I have no doubt she has her reasons; I just hope it’s not some kind of scandal. We’ve seen enough of those.

NO, she said the few months since she was nominated has put her family personally 500k in debt.
She can't raise funds legally while in office.

#1 She retires.
#2 She does speaking tours and writes books.
#3 She uses what was done to her against the left in a national election.
#4 Probably raises 20 million in personal wealth and untold riches for a political campaign war chest.

She would have been millions in legal debt from leftist operatives if she stayed in as Gov.
It was stopping the operations of Alaska and causing the state millions.

I think knowing the debt caused her family and her state with the false endless charges make her choices the right and wise ones.

She better raise more than that. Presidential campaigns are now over 100 million dollars. I believe she can raise that amount over 3 years though.

It will be exceedingly hard for her shake the image of a “quitter.”

I don't think it will be as hard as people think:

"She's had enough of politics" - assumes, perhaps wishfully. GOP may find it's just them she's had it with.

"Reckless move" - Someone roll off three "reckless" things she's done that weren't devised or trashed by "McCain handlers".

She drew the crowds. Her family reflects popular values in the face of real life. The reactions from DC and power players give away a defensiveness and fear that should be fueling rather than snuffing a grassfire.

When Sarah said “this world needs more Triggs not less” my spirit rose.

She is going to fight to protect Trigg’s world. Fight to return to the American values that protect and safeguard individula freedom

This is going to be one great endeavor. She is the only one that demands press coverage and that is because America wants to know of her and hear from her.

I encourage all of you - anytime there is a Sarah article on a news web site - click on it - even if you just read it somewhere else. This will force the media to cover her if they want readers. Of course - the best scenario is that the site offers 1 positive article and 1 not so - click on the positive article.

Hope you’re right. If so, she will have powerful allies in Rush, Sean, Mark Levin, and the conservative base.

Whether or not Sarah has a political future will depend upon her and the political environment. If she has any chance of a political future, she is going to have to prove that she is a political leader of substance. Right now she has low gravitas. She is just not seen as a leader except by her most devoted followers. This country is not ready for a female president, and a significant percentage of conservative males will not support a female running for POTUS.

Having read the comments on Sarah’s resignation here over the last 24 hours I have seen very little mention of what happened in Alaska a couple of weeks ago. While it received scant national attention, Governor Palin signed a historic natural gas pipeline agreement between the state of Alaska and a number of large oil companies. This pipeline will deliver huge amounts of natural gas to the lower 48 states and has been a been a goal of the state of Alaska for thirty some years. I believe she considers this her signal policy achievement and that she will be talking about this to highlight the differences between the conservative philosophy and the Gosplan-on-the-Potomac types currently ruining our Nation.
