It’s invasive. It’s corrupt. It’s rigged. It’s unconstitutional.
Its purpose is the legislative transformation of the United States of America into a land where conservatives, Christians, and Calcasians will become political castrados.
It is biased and prejudicial.
It serves to channel billions of dollars into bogus political action groups, such as ACORN.
It promotes gay rights and same-sex marriages.
It is a document that was not something drafted by the Berkley chapter of the Barbra Streisand Fan Club or the Alec Baldwin wing of the American Civil Liberties Union.
It is President Barack Obama’s 2010 Census Form.
The form asks if you have a house with running water, if you have a flush toilet, if you go to work by ferryboat or trolleycar, if you are mentally challenged, if you are of Hispanic, Latino, or Spanish origin, and if you are a white, black, negro, African American, American Indian, Asian Indian, Chinese, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Native Hawaiian, Guamanian or Chamorro, Samoan, Fijian, or Tongan
It asks if you have hot and cold running water, a sink with a faucet, a frigerator, a bathtub or shower, a stove or range, and a flush toilet.
It asks if you use coal, gas, oil, electricity, or solar energy to heat your home or apartment, if you are deaf or blind, if you are mentally challenged, if you have a physical disability, if you are employed, self-employed, or retired, if you have troubled dressing or bathing, if you have difficulty walking or climbing the stairs, and if you speak a language other than English at home.
It asks your income, your educational level, and the time you leave your home in the morning.
But infinitely more telling is what the new census form doesn’t ask.

Looks as if ‘native American’ isn’t a given category...it lists American Indian instead. If there is a place, I will write in ‘native American’, which is the truth.
Is it a good ‘move’? Not sure, but it’s the truth and this race baiting by the government needs to stop and I will do what I can to help.

I have definitely received it twice. The second came with a letter saying in essence they had already mailed me once and they want this second one completed ASAP.

I’m a lot lazier than you are.
In 1990, I didn’t send mine back and got 3 visits from the same woman.
I told her right off the bat that I had been the head assistant to a “big Kahuna” in the local Census office in 1980 and knew what info I had to [and not] supply.
The first visit was terse and tense.
She left with nothing.
The second visit was cordial and cajoling.
She left with nothing.
The third visit was back to “tense” again and this time, she told me that I had 2 choices; fill it out or go to jail.(!)
She then started to open my gate and come in my front yard.
I whistled and 2 Dobermans appeared from the back yard.
I told her ~she~ had 2 choices;
Shut the gate and get off my property or meet Arthur and Merlin.
Never saw or heard from her again.
In 1980, every single day at quitting time, enumerators stuck with working my area came in my office screeching the same thing;
“WTH is WRONG with you people?!?”
Very few “hillbillies” filled out their forms and the enumerators crazy enough to go up those dirt mountain lanes and pound on doors got threatened with everything from dogs to rocks to guns.
My answer was always the same thing.
We mind our own business and expect others to do the same.
[I pitied them because even though they’re “my people”, even I wouldn’t have gone up some of those lanes for love or money without an invitation to do so]
FYI, I got to witness first hand the level of lying, “fudging” and cheating on the Census forms.
All of the under qualified people the NAACP -forced- us to hire either took the forms home and filled them out themselves or dumped them in city trash bins.
Even a lot of the “good” enumerators would “fill in the blanks” so they didn’t have to go back to the same houses again.
The 1990 western Maryland Census “statistics” didn’t even come *close* to reflecting -reality- and the Census office head didn’t care, so long as the daily quota was met and the Census taking was “done” on time.
I’ve had no use for it ever since.
It was a statistical sham then and probably is still, if not more so.
In 2000, I got one visit.
I told the girl she knew everything she needed to already because she’d asked for both of us by name.
Then I shut the door.
I agree with you on most points.
What I object to is WHO is collecting the data.I would want a trusted source, not Acorn.

Some Census workers have laptops to aid them in the interview process, and handheld computers that provide them access to maps of the area they’re working in. The handheld computer uses a global positioning system (GPS) technology to help locate addresses. This GPS technology allows us to reduce the amount of time spent by census workers in locating addresses while increasing productivity. Most importantly, by adding a GPS coordinate to each housing unit, the Census Bureau is able to ensure that residents are counted in the right location. This is important as the data are used to apportion congressional representation and used to draw redistricting lines.

Obama should not have moved this process under his direct control. But he has and nothing has been done to stop him
THIS is the crux of the problem. We have representatives who are doing NOTHING To keep him in check and balance.
The census data is minimal in problems and not that much to get worked up about.
I doubt that anyone is going to target you to break into your house.
But they will set the money for government programs on it and it is important to make sure we don’t screw ourselves when we do these.
We need our numbers counted. If you are not comfortable with the rest of the information then don’t fill it in period.
If they contact you tell them you feel like it is a violation of your rights. That you gave ACCURATE information, but not all that they want.
Just don’t lie. That is one thing that they can nail you for if they really want to.
