These SOB's gave the margin of victory to the democrats. They need to be out of a job. The party that represents individual liberty need not have these socialists in their ranks.

Mary Bono is a terminally stupid woman who receives the support of wealthy Democrats who understand that she is dependable in a pinch. The New Jersey cabal is another matter. As money talks lounder in Jersey than just about anywhere else, one is tempted to believe that they must have been bought off.

Shameful. Not surprising though.

This is the last straw, but not the final insult.

Notice the ILL connection for this “restored” project: Is the IL repubbie (north Chicago above) getting money/hometown favors from this coal-powered project?

“The companies, two of the biggest coal-burning utilities in the U.S., are exiting the Futuregen Alliance just weeks after it won renewed support from the federal government. The Obama administration earlier this month all but guaranteed almost $1.1 billion for the project, to be based in Mattoon, Ill., reviving a project that had suffered a major setback in early 2008 when the Bush administration backed out of funding plans after costs almost doubled.”

Are you suggesting a little pay to play was involved? I’m shocked! NOT

I hope the name of the "stupid" party never changes to the "Conservative" party and further taint the good name of conservatism.

Beyond no doubt.

The sad part is it's the sheeple who reelect them anyway without frustration.

Kirk’s district is home to a bunch of lake shore libs. He has plans to run for state wide office.
I would imagine he may well be on WLS Sunday defending his position. He is a regular guest on Beyond the Beltway (6-8 central time as well as the show Tom Roeser hosts right after it.
Both shows can be heard on the radio or Internet.(wlsam.com)

Nancy got out her knee pads for this one. I wonder how many she had to do to get the bill through?

“”Mary Bono is a terminally stupid woman “”

Do you know if she is going to have any good opposition next year?

How can one defend the indefensible without lies and B.S.?

IMO, she would have to sign a binding contract not to try to gain favor!

Yeah, if you go down U.S. 41 about one out of every 5 homes are up for sale. It looks like they were all Bernie Madoffed. Too bad, Sir Kirk's, the Bastard of Illinois, vote doesn't affect the sale of those homes. It would be funny watching them all get retrofitted to California standards and have an ACORN energy brown shirt doing the inspection.

It was just pointed out on another thread that the House has adjourned for the holidays and the five days will expire before they convene again.

I think the focus now should be on contacting the Republican National Committee demanding that the eight turn-coats get NO MONEY OR ASSISTANCE for re-election. A line must be drawn in the sand, damnit - enough is enough!

Nancy doesn’t need no stinkin’ knee pads. She grew thick calluses on hers long ago. I’ll bet you thought her frozen face was due to Botox too...

Kirk’s district extends out to the NW suburbs. We are white collar middle class professionals or at least we used to be. There are no limousine liberals within several miles of my house.

I voted for Kirk each time he ran. However, I have just e-mailed him to say that his primary opponent will get my physical and financial support. If Kirk wins the primary, I will vote for his perpetual Dem opponent Dan Seals rather than return Kirk to Congress.

His local and DC offices’ mailboxes are full. Don’t waste your time phoning. You get get congressional e-mails by googling that term.

I apologize to Illinois Freepers (Phil and others) for defending Mr. Kirk in the past. No more RINOs!
