If Natural born citizen status meant the citizenship of the parents was of no importance to the loyalties and allegiance towards the America, then the Founding Fathers would not have provided a clause to allow themselves elligible.

They added that clause because none of them would qualify as natural born citizens of the US since such citizenship did not exist before American independence. Without that provision, up until 35 years after the date of the Constitution, there would not have been anyone qualified to be US President. The Constitution does not refer to the citizenship status of one's parents when it comes to natural-born status.

What a joke. The result of having a president who does not meet the standard of Article II of the US constitution is now playing out in his waffling on Iran, his inteference with legal rights of band holders and investors in such corporations as GM and Chrysler, and his policy of inntergenerational indebtedness of Americans, and his refusal to enforce the laws we have on illegal aliens. The result is obvious. Obama is no patriot of America.

You bet Obama doesn't qualify to be president, and now its showing. Stay tuned, more to come.

So?? It does not refer to natural-born status anywhere except in the Art. II section 1 Presidential qualifications paragraph. And that includes amendments.
