The Democratic Party's favorite criminal enterprise the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now (ACORN) has officially changed its name to Community Organizations International. They are also working on dismantling Citizens Consulting Inc. (CCI), the umbrella organization in "Nawlins" that collect and distributes all of the cash for ACORN and its subsidiaries.
Just because they are changing their name it doesn't mean they are changing their ways, ACORN still isn't opening their books, even to their own people, the ACORN 8. They are suing ACORN 8 for using the name they are about to abandon. But no fear, your Democratic representatives are still allowing this group being investigated in 14 states for voter fraud to receive federal dollars:

Glenn Beck’s fault.
Glenn called this!
When American Public Radio changed its name to “Public Radio International,” one of the commentators pointed out that it was like calling themselves the “International House of Radio.” The whole thing bothered me because despite the fact that it was supposed to be “international,” U.S. taxpayers were still picking up the bill. I’d rather have the pancakes.
A nut is a nut, is a nut.
I am surprised that they didn’t call if Global Community Organizations.

“Communist Organizers International”
This was posted earlier (probably in another form) and I highly recommend listening to the first part of Mark Levin’s show from 6/19 about this.

Levin referred to a number of Heritage Foundation research articles he was going to link to from HIS site. I did not find any such link, but from the Heritage site, I’ve searched on “New Left Government” and “VISTA” and come up with the following articles. Apparently not a complete list, but FWIW:
http://www.heritage.org/Research/GovernmentReform/IA9.cfm
http://www.heritage.org/Research/GovernmentReform/IA17.cfm
http://www.heritage.org/Research/EnergyandEnvironment/IA19.cfm
If anyone comes up with a more complete list, please ping me w/same at your convenience.
HE sure did, just as he called this financial meltdown. People laugh at him, but he is right more often than not.
International?
Sure. They have conquered the US of A for the glories of International Socialism, now it's time to spread the gospel of thuggery and community activism to the rest of the globe!
Onward Socialism!!!!!

As in International Workers Party
If they are dismantling CCI, I wonder what type of organization will take its’ place? Will it be a not for profit corporation or something else? I wonder who is advising them to do this? To me it seems that CCI is covered in the form it is in. I would love to see it exposed. It is probably just to make its’ tracks harder to follow.

MORE UNDERHANDED ANTICS FROM THE....grrrrr
House Democrat leadership again blocked my efforts to stop funneling your tax dollars to ACORN, which is under investigation or indictment in more than a dozen states for voter registration fraud.
My colleague, Steve King (R-IA) and I had planned to offer amendments to the spending bill that included the Census and other programs at the U.S. Department of Commerce. The amendments would have prohibited ACORN from getting taxpayer dollars through any programs funded in that bill, plain and simple.
At the eleventh-hour, House leadership restricted debate on amendments to that funding bill, denying debate for these amendments and nearly a hundred others. Interestingly, it was on the very day that ACORN celebrated its 39th birthday with a big reception in the nations capital that the House installed this gag rule.
There are a number of other funding bills that still must come before the House and I hope to be able to offer other similar amendments to ensure that your hard-earned tax dollars are not given to organizations that cant meet the highest standards of ethical behavior. Taxpayer funding is not a right for any group, and it should be reserved for those organizations who have earned the peoples trust.
Will Congress Again Rescue ACORN?
