Has John McCain Come Out to Defend Palin From His Buddy Letterman?

Has John McCain come out in denouncing his buddy David Letterman or is he affraid he wont get invited on the show again. This women was warning us of what Obama would do to this country and did so at the expense of her families sovereignty and this ex military hero told her to tone down the rhetoric and now stands silent as they attack her family. He asked her to join his campaign; she in a teary eyed speech spoke of this man in such herioc terms she should have saved them for a true patriot. He endured all this pain and suffering for this nation forty years ago yet he cant find enough courage to defend this women (who he dragged out of Alaska) against his cold blooded buddies in the media. What a disgrace you are!!!

I think David Letterman wants Sarah Palin and knows she would never let him near her, so he lashes out.

He keeps an ugly wife at home and keeps lots of mistresses on the side.

Maybe he saw this picture of Sarah.

Oh ok I see but its still not enough for me look at what they have done to this women and her family and he has remained silent all this time. I am so upset with Mccain and the fact he chose her and she stood by him and now the vultures continue to pound on her so he said it was wrong not enough for me and all freepers no what a disgrace he has been after what she sacrificed for him.

I’m not talking about a vote, just acknowledging he manned up and did the right thing in this case.. If Obama himself denounced Letterman, I would acknowledge it (albeit I wouldn’t trust it..)

Are you really surprised at McCain's behavior? My guess is your saw signs of his perfidy long ago. You were not alone.

The following was predicted way back when McCain secured the nomination, in February 2008:

In many ways it is probably a good thing he stays silent on Letterman's degeneracy. I've come to expect anything he says in "support" of any conservative would have just the opposite effect. I find it hard to accept that he is the same man who withstood the ordeals of Hanoi Hilton. He's ployed that debt we owed him long enough. Seems he's had enough time to take the hint from a truly great military man: "Old soldiers never die; they just fade away."

I agree. McCain has done his fair share of disrespecting Palin.

It seems he only raised his head out of his foxhole when it was safe to pile on Letterman.

Sorry Sen Mac....not good enough.. .

Yeah, sorry Sen. McCain. Nothing you'll ever do will satisfy some of the kooks around here (especially the ones who backed Don Rumsfeld's limited warfare losing strategy in Iraq--the one that eventually was replaced by Gen. Petraeus's surge that actually won the war!)
