The only time a dealer costs the manufacturer anything is on warrenty work. Perhaps by limiting dealerships, the waiting lists will be so long for getting this work done, owners will simply trade in their ‘lemons’ for new models.

You are asking the wrong question, the correct question should be: Under what authority does the government get the power to shut down, take over, fire CEOs or in anyway interfere with a privately owned business? This whole take over of GM and Chrysler in an impeachable offense and the Republicans need to be shouting that out at the top of their lungs, but they are quiet about it, mainly because the frickin' republican politicians are just as socialist and greedy as the Dimwits.

And did you "really, really doubt" that the Clintons were going after and punishing their Republican/conservative opposition via sicking the IRS on them in endless audits during the entire eght years of their "reign"?
