We prayed for your daughter on the air today-no names.I am back on the air for a few days a week.:)
in my prayers...
but if her thyroid is high, it could cause these symptoms. she also needs to see an Internist (Adult medicine), one who specializes in Endocrinology if possible.
Lyme disease can do this, but so can a lot of viruses...
MS would show up on an MRI...
Prayers for your daughter, and for you as well...
muscle weakness is one of the symptoms. Usually people are nervous but not always. I remember treating one cowboy complaining of depression, trouble thinking, and weakness...he had just his mom and I thought he was depressed.. But it was the neurologist that I referred him to that picked up that his thyroid was too high...I missed his "tremor"...that was the clue.
Prayers on the way!
Prayers.
She’s been on thyroid meds for a week, and had one day that she did feel stronger. Her neurologist found hyperthyroidism in January, but it wasn’t until we visited the Lyme specialist that she started getting treatment.
I will remember ‘Ellendra’ in my prayers.
Prayer said!
ITS TIN!!!!
Just got some lab results back today. They show that I tested borderline positive for Lyme, which could still be a factor. BUT, there was finally one clear positive test: evidently I have almost 20X the maximum safe levels of tin in my body.
Symptoms of tin poisoning? Headaches, muscle aches, vertigo, lack of coordination, cognitive impairment, and a whole slew of other things including my entire list of symptoms!
We still haven’t figured out where the tin is coming from, and its still possible there are other conditions present. But, this is huge!
Ellendra saw the doctor last Thursday. She is now being treated for Lyme disease, anemia, for some problems with her endocrine system, sleep problems, the thyroid problem, and has been advised to use FAR Infrared Sauna therapy for the tin poisoning. (I’m looking for a spa or masssage place that has one we can use for short periods of time.) We’ve ordered a kit to test for tin in the water.
Thanks for your continued prayers!
Oh, bless her heart...will continue prayers for her recovery.
I’ve honestly never heard of tin poisoning. Please update when possible.
BTTT
Neither had we - we sat looking at each other, saying: “TIN?!?!?” when we first read the report.
You all have my prayers. May our Lord bless your family with healing and all provisions!
Thanks for the ping knittnmom,
I’m so glad and thankful that there has been a diagnosis and treatments can begin.
I didn’t know anything about tin poisoning, so read a little about it online. Interesting info.
Keeping you in prayer for complete healing, Ellendra.
Thank you for letting us know. Prayers continue...
