New York Post ^ | 05/31/2009 | Ralph Peters

Posted on 05/31/2009 4:26:11 PM PDT by fiscon1

In the old days at Officer Candidate School, the "tac officers," snapping and snarling, would circle a hapless would-be lieutenant:

"You're lost, Candidate."

"You're confused.

"What are you going to do now?"

"Make a decision! Make a decision!"

If course Barama loves these people.

The only reason Amadinijahad and Jong il are in the news is because even they cant be ignored by the left.

Chavez and Assad are working quietly, on the side lines

I dont know if Obama is a total dupe or if he is in league.

I suspect he is in league with the axis of evil

Iran, North Korea Testing Obama

zer0 got Joe "The Idiot" Biden and Hitlery on his Cabinet to deal with things such as this. If this is a test, 0bama is an abject failure.

The test has yet to come. This is a side show to what is coming. The test will be here when you see Americans in body bags, when you see thousands of weeping Americans, when anger flairs in your heart. That will be the real test.

Al Qaeda's just a symptom. Wahhabism, sponsored globally by the Saudis, is the disease.

Yes, and not by the current Saudi government, but by the string-pullers who support the current Saudi government. Who are, yes, Wahhabi. Mind you, this is not the only flavor of Islamism extant, there's the home-grown Iranian Shi'ite version as well, but both have one common objective: the overthrow of Western culture and the establishment of the Caliphate. The only argument is whether the Caliph will be Arab or Persian.

As to the broader issue Peters is addressing, yes, Obama needs to make a statement in deed, not in the inexhaustible supply of words that flow from his handlers through the willing conduit of the NY Times. Clinton actually got a break when Saddam's people were caught plotting to assassinate his predecessor - those cruise missiles impacting on an empty building did, in fact, serve notice that there were limits, negotiable with the exchange of the right amount of cash into Democrat party coffers, but limits of sorts. Were 0bama to attempt to address an attempted assassination of his predecessor he'd be piously declaring that Bush had it coming and apologizing to the assassins for the cruel trouble Bush had put them to. That's a lot of things with regard to domestic politics but the message it sends overseas is that the sky's the limit. As, in fact, it is.

0bama needs a demonstration, a suitably powerless opponent against whom he and his media followers can engineer an outrage of a moment and whom he can crush with a suitable exercise in a military power in which he publicly does not believe. And all of the major players - Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, Russia, China, Cuba - all of these know perfectly well that they're too big and bad to mess with. Perhaps 0bama will have us bomb some tribesmen in Darfur. The NY Times will herald him as the new Napoleon and we can get back to turning the United States into a socialist welfare state. Watch it happen.

And if they want him he’s:

Play Golf

Playing with his crotch

At another phony photo-op

On vacation

Counting his under the table money

Where he is not:

Watching out and protecting the American public.

That cherished image of the bewildered victim of calculated harassment fits President Obama perfectly, when it comes to the shambles he's made of foreign policy in record time...libs loved to blame the world's supposed dislike of Bush for the problems we had with N. Korea, Iran,et al before - wonder what they'll come up with to try to cover this jerk's a$$.......

"I just want to go back to sleep. Honey (Michelle), tell them to go away. I'm hung over from last night."...
