Now we all just KNOW that the world's going to end! (Flagg quit smoking)

Well, it really wasn't my intention, but my fraking tobacco seeds just didn't want to sprout. So after a lot of investigation about the subject, I ordered one of those ecigarettes. The DSE-901.

Well, last Saturday evening was my last actual smoke. Been very pleased with the ecig I have. It's a kinda sad feeling -a friend I've known for almost 30 years is going away. Obama will NOT be getting more tax dollars from my bulk tobacco purchases when I rolled my own cigarettes.

However...

The FDA is coming after ecigs now.

YIKES!!!
NINETY BUCKS?

That’s way too much. I paid $30 for my starter kit, $30 for a bottle of eliquid, and about $30 for extra accessories and a case for the device.
It took about 12 days for it to get here, though. Although the eliquid got here in three days.

I know. I SAID they have coupons..:)

They mail the product from Dallas and if I order it one day, they ship it out the next. They also have a phone number in case we need "help" getting it set up, etc.

OTOH, we will DEFINITELY check out your link. Thanks.

Wow, cool another E Smoker.

If you want a real education on e smoking, check out http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/

I am amazed at the tips and tricks i have learned over there. Started using the juice instead of the cartridges and its been great since.

While i have not quit.. I am WAY WAY down on the number of "analog" cigarettes I smoke.. on my way to only using the e cig.

This link is the main one you’ll want for some very good research:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/
These folks are the best source I’ve found. They know all about every model, liquid, brands, sites to watch out for, and the political side of the devices (FDA stuff).

Thanks for the link...

So e-cigs are on the hit list, BUT they're making a loud noise about legalizing marijuana? Unbelievable.

It’s FLAWLESS!! MUAAHAHAHAAA!!!

(cough splatter wipe wipe wipe) ROTFL

I should know better than to read FR while eating.

I see that it compares to post dip-SCHIP tax-increased tobacco. It does help that the e-cigs defund the state. It is also appealing that you can look like you're smoking in no smoking places thus sending neurotic nico-nazis into spastic shock. I'm still disgruntled that my government is forcing me into changing something I have no desire to change.

Ecigs are on the hit-list because they’re a threat to the HOPEd for tobacco tax revenue.

Because it’s so successful in helping guys like me quit smoking cigarettes.

As am I.
But knowing how much it'll piss off BO and the tobaccophobes ("Won't effect me because I don't smoke," mentality) when they find that SCHIP funding isn't working.
Revenge is so very sweet.

It's all we've friggin' got now. LOL /s

If I end up getting my own e-ciggie when people ask me about it I will not fail to explain the tax benefits with the biggest smuggest smile imaginable. And possibly an obviously insincere expression of sympathy for the taxes they're paying on fats and sugar.

That’s what I’ve been doing.
The teachers at my Sons’ school just kind of smile.
Obama voters, of course.

That's a little bit disappointing. I will be looking for the ones who go into respiratory distress when they see me puff on it.

Day six, and I haven’t been confronted about it yet.
If it happens from someone on the streets, I was thinking of the line...

“Oh, I’m not smoking, and this isn’t smoke. This is a personal vaporizer that dispenses my medication that keeps me from going off on nosy people who don’t know how to mind their own business.”

Of course, add a couple of eye twitches, knuckle cracking, etc...

I picked up the same model a few weeks ago.
The only reason I bought one was because they want to ban them...lol.

I still have lots of lbs of tobacco pre-schip and my plants are very tiny - but the e-cig is pretty neat and a kick in bars and restaurants!!!

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/8952-new-updated-comprehensive-intro-vaping.html
That video link from ‘Spikey’ helped me figure out what to buy and how to take care of the e-cig.

I hope you are happy in however this turns out for you, and I’ll hold you to your promise not to become a miltatnt former smoker! (Please do the same for me!)
