It’s really irrelevant whether the parents can opt out.
Kindergarten children do not need this kind of education. Moral education is the parents job. The schools need to focus on making them literate and are failing miserably.

The problem is they are not going to tell you *when* they are teaching your kids this..
This has been the destruction of public education. Teachers who think they know better for your kids than you, and parents who go along with it. More Churches off all sizes need to start non-for profit schools!
