Sonia Sotomayor is unfit for the Supreme Court- A list of grievances

Obama’s Supreme Court Pick, the first pick by a Democratic President in 15 years, is Sonia Sotomayor, a federal judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Surprise surprise, she is a liberal with little understanding of law and the Constitution. Today I form a list of grievances, if you will, giving good reason for why Sotomayor shouldn’t be seated on the Supreme Court bench.

My biggest problem with Sotomayor is that she rules from the bench, that is, she is no impartial but instead acts as a legislator does and imposes her own opinion.

TOTUS appoints a new SCOTUS who doesn’t know the COTUS. Surprised? I’m not. Sotomayor is unfit to be a Supreme Court Justice, as shown by the list of grievances.

Um, all of the legal defense funds out there, um, they’re looking for people out there with court of appeals experience, because court of appeals is where policy is made. And I know, I know this is on tape and I should never say that because we don’t make law, I know. Um, um — [laughter] — I know. I’m not promoting it, I’m not advocating it, and, I’m … you know. [laughter]

At least she knows enough, but barely, that it's best to hide that stuff.

The sad thing is that there were a host of liberal justices available that would have been much more qualified for the post. It is like Obama tried to find the worst possible person for the position, just to prove he could.

She’s a typical airhead affirmative action-ee. If you’re a minority and you use your brains ala Clarence Thomas you’re vilified for not “representing” the community. I know what you’re thinking: “What the hell? What does representing a community have to do with being an unbiased, objective judge?” I don’t know, but apparently if you don’t “represent” then you’re an Uncle Tom. Sotomayor will “represent” alright— thanks a lot Moderate Republicans!

I was so ticked off this morning when she was announced and then immediately the bush bashing, the racists speak. The party of no is going to say no. They had a whole script prepared because they knew she was a racist and has made racist comments. As always they are making this about race.

One obama idiot said Bush nominated all far right but wonderful obama has not gone far left with his nomination. You cannot get more far left than a person who says a latina female can make a better decision than a white male. Why did she say that? I am betting she was saying because of her experience of living in the projects and hey, getting two FULL rides to Ivy League colleges, that she can make a decision based on empathy. That in a nutshell is why obama wanted her.

Her saying her court made policy and then she caught herself because she was being taped. Then someone came ot make light of that and said some stupiud thing like that was a discussion among students. So that made it okay? Obama likes the radical who will go against their given rights within their position. Look at obama, he has stretched his position to controlling corporations and banks. She will also make sure his birth certificate gets nowhere because her parents are immigrants.

I think it is disgusting anyone who made her remarks is even being considered. If she were white or republican, she would not stand a chance. We are the party of all ethnics being equal.

Read my profile for what the dems, Biden racist jerk he is, did to Clarence Thomas. Then tell me republicans would ever say no to this nominee based on race or gender. No they are concerned she will judge by color as she has done in the past.

There was a case brought out by krauthammer (sp?) where this student had a similar back ground as sotomayor and I don’t remember all the parts of the lawsuit, but he was white. He was denied his rights because he was white. He sued. Sotomayor dropped the suit without comment. The same situation in life as her but he was white. He had struggled in the same way but he had it worse with dyslexia so when he studied he hired someone to read to him. Anyway Krauthammer says it will go to the supreme court and he will win. Don’t take my story verbatim. I was half asleep but I love Krauthammer so I listened with one ear. /wink

Sotomayor will be like obama in always siding with her own ethnic group and minorities in her judgements.

This is a travesty that we have a president hell bent on equal for his own revenge on America. Equal money through wealth redistribution, equal minorities in top positions regardless of qualifications. But obamas jobs for america are for minorities only. That is where equal will never be equal under obama.

One last thing that ticks me off. Sotomayor lived in the projects and her mother was a nurse and worked another job to raise her two children? I don’t remember how old she is but when I was a child nurses did not live in projects. In fact there were single mothers with jobs and they owned houses and they did not ask for government help. my grandmother spoke of grocery clerks and meat cutters who made a great living.

I am P****D!!!!!!!!!! I am sick of obama’s polarizing agenda to turn us all against each other. To be clear, I am not against her because of her race or gender, it is her past and her comments where I do not feel she judge blindly as she will take a oath to do. If it walks like a duck, has youtube videos speaking like a duck, then quack, quack.

The comments of some of the people who know her were, she is a bully, she is not that smart, I can’t remember the others. There is a dark side to this lady. Very dark.

Sotomayor’s ruling that a public school could punish a student for something she wrote in a non-school affiliated blog demonstrates that she has no concept of liberty. Her idea that her decisions should take into account the “impact on common people” demonstrates that she sees the judiciary as simply a super-legislature..

Maybe the Justices like Thomas may be feeling a little sad now for not taking the BC issue seriously. This could have all ended if they had done their job and upheld the constitutional requirements of proving that you are a natural born citizen. I wonder if it were they, who advised him to fly to Hawaii and have the Governor seal the BC?
