Rep. Steven LaTourette (R-OH) and Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) held a press conference on Capitol Hill to discuss the unexpected closing of five Chrysler plants. In response to the closures, Rep. LaTourette is introducing a bill to demand the Obama Administration to provide all information regarding the closing of all Chrysler plants and dealers nationwide.

Even the very liberal Senator Kucinich is outraged by the Obama auto task force's order to close Chrysler dealerships. Here are some quotes: LaTourette "Thirtysix members of Congress..including six democrats have signed a letter asking Barack Obama for time out on his Auto Task Force... between 8 auto plants & 789 dealerships being closed that is a total of 203,340 jobs being lost...We are asking the President to STOP!" ATF has "strange marketing plans -that you think you are going to sell more cars with less stores. 2. They are micro-managing -telling Chrysler to stop marketing & advertising -how are you going to sell cars without advertising." Kucinich really gives it to the ATF "let me sum it up -70 billion $ are being used to close dozens of U.S. auto plants & thousands of dealerships ...all of this being done to open up a market for China. So China can sell their cheap imports here in the U.S...while we destroy our auto manufacturing & sales..." Is someone keeping a list of the groups that are now feeling regret about voting for this guy?

Imagine congress in introducing a “bill” to demand the executive branch come clean on its closet fascism.
Like geithner obama rattner et al are people who play by
“the law”
Good luck, you stupid lemmings in congress. You will be discarded anbd bypassed when you are not needed.

When Dennis Kucinich has a better grasp of economic reality than the President of the United States we are in deep trouble.

This is more an example of “all politics is local.”

All the Congresscritters are back in their districts now. It’s gonna get up-close and personal. We’ll know if the message was received when Congress reconvenes. Or are the closures timed to go in effect before Congress can act?

Gov Strickland, (D, Ohio) has been absolutely, miserably useless in preserving any kind of job in Ohio. And he keeps proposing more spending. From what!! Economy’s lousy in Ohio, jobs are disappearing faster than rabbits at a magician’s show, businesses are disappearing faster than that, prices are rising, and they want to to what? Raise spending?!
They are nuts. Strickland’s nuts.
Here’s a clue Ohio:
1. END THE INCOME TAX.
2. Lower (to zero if necessary) business taxes.
Give your right arm, if necessary, to manufacturers looking to bring jobs to or keep jobs in OHIO.
This is not rocket science.
Strickland is a joke!

I think the reason Kucinich is speaking out is because he did read the signs from the Tea Parties. He is now taking his marching orders from the people at the TP because he wants to be reelected.

Bob Taft was Bad, this guy is worse. Too bad Ken Blackwell wasn’t elected.
