I think the Democrats are in for a pounding but I also believe the National GOP leadership is going to get one too. They are going to find money going around them to get to the candidates we want.

With control of the executive and legislative branches, the DEMS have been acting like drunken sailors on dollar day at a french whorehouse ...

The problem for Dems is that much of their constituency is fairly lazy. They were motivated by Obama's appearance on the national ticket, but they will be nowhere near as motivated come the mid-term elections. I'm sure ACORN and the Dems will be working overtime to manufacture votes, so hopefully Republican voters (and independents) will turn out in great numbers.

...34 percent described themselves as "wishy-washy."

IMHO, this number is probably close to the mark. And it is the best justification for discrediting the Rats at every opportunity. The present Pelosi/CIA imbroglio is a gift from above, if the GOP has the sense to exploit it properly.

All the GOP is missing is a leader.

Someone to bash that kenyan MF over the head everyday in the press instead of kissing his ass.

While unable to match the Democrats for sheer corruption and piss-poor management, the GOP in the last 6 years proved to be absolutely awful. Corrupt individuals like Duke Cunningham and pork-barrel earmarkers like Ted Stevens were allowed to run unchecked. The GOP IMO needs to adopt tough standards and the way to start is to commit to Limbaugh and Mark Levin standards of Conservatism. Focus on what they are best when they are principled. Being good managers and protectors of liberty and personal freedom. Screw David Frum.

The Democrats have it all figured out. The have the black vote—it is a given. They have the homosexual vote, the abortion vote and the eco-nut vote. Between now and 2010 they intend to grant amnesty to all illegal aliens and get them registered to vote. With all of the above, they aren't worried about us.

Therefore, amnesty must be prevented or it is all over for us conservatives for years to come. James Carville will agree with this scenario.

I hope so but ACORN is out there with their sister group SEIU. The Islamo-Democrats are getting more sophisticated in stealing elections.

Let’s see if they can find a hundred different Obama style rock star candidates. Obama was very much a phenomenom of airhead, popculture America. Besides, I think that many of those college students and welfare recipients are just too exhausted after all that effort.

Democrat President + Democrat Congress = Hell on Earth + Republican landslide in the next election.

It hasn't taken any special brilliance on my part to point this out to most everyone I've had the chance to discuss the upcoming midterms with.

It's simply history repeating itself (as usual).

I plan to do everything in my power to ensure that Sarah Palin is our nominee for President in 2012. If she is, we will win, and we will win big.

So will America.

Did you see Barney Frank tonight on I think it was Glenn Beck’s show, up against a conservative congresswoman...he was blaming bush for the money ACORN got during the Bush years...who knew then what ACORN was?

IF we can get a primary that doesn't include the democrats' choice for a candidate for us like the last ones did. We need to have our primaries on the West coast before those on the east coast, to forestall having the dems insert themselves into our process. I hate even thinking about it. We KNOW they are already planning to jerk the rugs out from under us yet again.

Our last primary was a ridiculous joke that we didn't quite catch until it was too late.

There were far too many horses in that race, which only served to narrow the field down to the lowest common denominator, which was McNuts.

He was the perfect fall guy for Obama.

Next time, we've got to be a lot more co-ordinated at the national and grass-roots level, so that our side fields just a few well tested, and electable contenders.
