You’re right...I’m going to love watching her go down. She’s probably going to take a few with her. Wouldn’t be surprised to hear Murtha decide that he won’t run again in 2010 becaue with Hoyer as Speaker he’s dirt.

A part of me wants Pelosi to stay on as speaker because, aside from her abysmal approval rating, she is now a liar with no credibility. She’s the perfect person to lead the ‘rats to their demise.

I’m not so sure about that. The looney left (which her district in SF is made up of) has been known to turn on their own. If they decide she knew about torture and covered it up, they could drop her quickly.

Of course, they’ll replace her with someone just as far left. But that is another reason they may throw her out. If the choice is a looney-leftie vs a loonie-lefty that lied about supportint torture, why go with the liar?

Steny Hoyer will replace her. She's become too erratic and unable to lie effectively. I suspect there's more going on behind the scenes, but I've been noticing a pattern of little things here and there that suggest she's falling out of favor with Obama's handlers, perhaps getting a bit big for her britches in their estimation. She won't survive in her role as SOTH beyond the next election cycle.

I'd be very, very surprised if she does.

So, Pelosi is now saying that George Tenet lied to her and ordered his congressional briefers to lie to Nancy.
