Los AngelesAfter testing positive for a performing enhancing drug, Manny Ramirez has decided to follow Barack Obamas example and take no responsibility for his actions. Ramirez was suspended by Major League Baseball for 50 games for failing his drug test. Since his suspension, the Dodgers are urging him to address his fellow teammates, explaining his actions.
Manager Joe Torre was less than sympathetic, telling reporters that Manny should do the right thing. If he doesnt step up to the plate, fired Torre, Im going to personally cut off all his dreadlocks! This isnt the minor leagues. Im sick of Manny being Manny.

Satire ping!
Please mark as satire in ORIGINAL post! This wastes our time!
Noooooooooo Torre - don’t cut his dreadlocks. He might start LOOKING like Obama.
BTTT
That's not the Manny I know.
When are they going to test Obama?
Sorry to take a whole four or five minutes out of your life. I think I'll go slit my wrists and get in a hot bathtub now for WASTING YOUR TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the bump, spodefly. I appreciate it.
I always laugh when some one comes along and calls for sarcasm marks. What's the point?
I know. Will we ever get over it. :-)
Glad you enjoyed the snippy exchanges. It should’ve been obvious by the title, and it only took three or four minutes to read the entire 225 words.
That’s the same type of person that races you to the stop light, thinking they’re saving time. But I get several of those: Please mark satire in your post comments.
So thanks for reading and enjoying the snippy comments once again. I appreciate it.
I see. Elective Decisions is YOUR blog. So you get to post vanity satire without appropriate markings as either as news.
I guess I should start a blog ambling on about how I feel today, then I, too, can post news threads in Free Republic without marking them as vanities.
Good luck on your blogging, but please mark posts as “satire” if it is not evident from the posted text. I was really wondering whether Joe Torre had gone off the deep end.
I don’t think anything in Joe Torre’s behavior in all his years at the Yankees would ever have led me to believe he’d do that. I figured everyone would pick that one up.
Mark your bullshi* as satire if you must pollute this site.
If you must comment and pollute this site, please refrain from using the word you used. Otherwise go somewhere else and bully other people, but stop wasting my time.
Everybody has their breaking point, especially when dealing with an adult who behaves like a child.
Thanx for not writing for the slowest kids in class.
Wouldn’t Mannie’s cavorting drive you up the wall? Boston had enough of him.
If you start providing a laugh track for the clueless, I’ll kill you!
