Obama has asked that no tourists be allowed to tour Normandy that day because HE will be there. It's the 65th anniversary of D-Day and he doesn't want to let anybody else in.
You have Wanda Sykes at the Nerd Prom last night telling people that Rush Limbaugh ought to be tried for treason because he said he hopes Obama fails. Okay, she's a comedienne and can say crap like that. But when a President of the United States releases documents that endanger troops and national security, when he releases terrorists onto United States soil, when he alienates longtime allies in favor of leaders who have expressed hate and disdain for us, instituing nationalized health care, nationalizing automakers and banks, well, maybe Wanda Sykes wasn't looking in the right direction when she decided to call someone out for treason.

Is this really recommended by the Secret Service. I was there and am not sure how he can be protected. If there is a safe way to ensure his safety, I am sure that they would be doing that.

Response: I think it is up to us. The GOP as presently constituted is badly damaged goods. The GOP organization might be used to start the long road back. Unfortunately we lack leaders. The one feature in our favor being The Divine Ones stupidity(he is cunning but ultimately stupid).He is destined to bungle and bungle badly.

The comparison was just too eerie, as was the reasons for the fall of the Roman Empire with its descent into paganism and idolatry, just as it seems the U.S. is. We're just too busy with who is going to win the next sports championship to care about what's happening to our nation.
You might as well wait for the tooth fairy to show up ... the sooner conservatives come to grips with reality and accept the fact that the GOP is dead and that a new CONSERVATIVE party needs to be built from the ground up the sooner we can re-build this country. I for one don't see it being a painless or peaceful process. I'm not even sure that damage can be repaired without a MAJOR reset.
