If so, when will others (Jews, Whites, etc.) be justly compensated for their ancestors being slaves? Do you understand this is total insanity? In addition, you need to study the history of the World. There have been a plethora of races and cultures held captive in slavery over time.

Furthermore, trillions given to them since the 1940s is enough. This does not count the loss of human life during the UnCivil War, the watering down of the Constitution, etc.

Most of all, the slave trade ended in the USA in 1808. Read the Constitution. My advice, get over yourself and by all means hand them your paycheck. Moreover, my family did not own slaves, and my family doesn't owe them a blessed thing.

Whites and Jews simply learned that nothing is free and that what happened to their ancestors happened then and each day is a potentially clean slate. You can either continue to make the same mistakes or do something that will help you start over.

You and I understand this concept, but Liberals continue to feed this “YOU OWE ME” mentality to the blacks. This is detrimental to their well-being, and moving toward the future. There are millions of middle class blacks who do not want any part of this reparation insanity.
In addition, this came to my attention in 2008. Lawyers were going from state to state having meetings with blacks. They were helping them do an ancestral background check and to find if their ancestors were slaves. Many of them are holding letters in there hands at this time telling them they are entitled to X amount of money. The smallest amount I've seen is $350,000 dollars.
This is why the blacks were so involved with this election. Not only were they pushing their first black president, they knew the lawyers had promised them once Barack was elected, the letters they hold in their hands would be honored tax free.

The Reparation Issue was handled before the 2008 elections. They have the letters in hand, Barack can always get the Democrat Congress to make sure the money is given to them. Why?
This goes back to a bill Congress passed in the 1865. What they've done is added interest over time to the compensation.
All of this has been reopened.....

The premise is all wrong.
Michelle Obama aside, whitey didn’t capture and enslave free people.
Blacks enslaved their own people, and when they began to have a population surplus , they unloaded their undesirable slaves for rum and guns.

As you know, blacks were slave owners. There were thousands of black slave owners in the south. There were also slave breeders. Do you think a decendant of a white non-slave holder should pay reparations while the decendants of black slave holders shouldn’t?

Of course it was blacks who captured and enslaved their fellow blacks. How do you propose their decendants should be treated?

If you can find a black who was ever a slave then pay the reparations.

To that I would add: Reparations means making whole, wiping the slate clean. The payment of reparations eliminates at once and forever the validity of any claim of handicap due to racism. You are now on your own.
