Getting ready for the next election

I am asking that everyone start encouraging friends and family members who are not registered to vote do register now. We lost because of many reasons but one BIG one was a lot of middle of the road (leaning on the side of conservative moral values) were not registered to vote. Acorn got out there and registered the youth (must lean left because they are to young to know otherwise). I know a lot of church folks who are not registered. Now is OUR TIME. Get people registered. Those that didn't bother to vote, get them interested. Let's TAKE BACK AMERICA!!! Just a fact, Obama won because only 64 percent of registered voters voted. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1108/15306.html

Most people in the country do not want to be dictated to by “moral Conservatives”. “Conservative moral values” scares the crap out of most people! “Conservative moral values” CAN NOT WIN National elections. They MAY win LOCAL elections.

Conservative ECONOMIC values almost always wins elections. Please keep the religious stuff to yourself! It only distracts from the Conservative economic message most of us are trying to promote.

Your life and well-being is YOUR responsibility.

Get married before you make babies.

If you want something, get a job, make money, and pay for it yourself.

Don’t take drugs.

It is possible to not commit any crimes in a lifetime. Make that one of your goals.

Parents should decide the morals and value of their own children.

Your rights end where mine begin, and vice-versa.

Government programs don’t exist to solve your problem. They exist to increase their own funding.

You’re right. That’s some terrifying stuff! Who could live under those draconian rules?

I’m not exactly a bible thumping hard right Christian conservative but even I am smart enough to know that Christian faith is at the core of conservatism.

Exactly. Without conservative morals, there can be no conservative economics.

Registering people to vote, when the choice between candidates is minimal, is pretty pointless. Why bother? If your economic message is going to be ‘we're going to just slightly screw things up less than the other guy”, it's not very impressive.

When candidates and our party gets around to a clear, concrete and gosh, actually intends to implement a plan, things will change and people will want to vote.

If our leaders are casting about for a plan for 2010 or 2012, they might want to look at Arnold and McClintock’s California governor campaigns, as well as Perot's presidential campaign for ideas. Well, scratching out the part where Arnold goes on to thumb his nose at conservatives, and Perot turns into a crazy whack-job.

I also think treating America as nothing more than an economy is such a bright idea either. Reagan understood it and would be called protectionist if he were running today.
