CNN interviews "Outrage" director Kirby Dick. No, really... that's his real name.
"You can't swing a dead cat in Washington without hitting a gay person."
Apparently, Washington, D.C., Capitol Hill and politics are full of closet homosexuals.
That explains a lot. I've been saying all my life that politics is "gay".

And how many closeted people are Democrats?
Rhetorical question - I really don’t want to know. If any want to join Barney Frank and Tammy Baldwin as open homosexuals in Congress, fine. Otherwise, don’t ask/don’t tell makes sense to me.
There are a lot of them. A lot of transsexuals too. Now that Obama is President they are having liaisons in the showers again.
One big happy bipartisan sausage festival, and we’re paying for it.
Well, we know Zero is right at the top of the list so to speak! its sad to realize that Larry Sinclair most probably was 1000% telling the Truth before Del. A.G. Biden imprisoned and allegedly waterboarded him for two weeks on apparently False Charges! but it got his Daddy, “PLUGS BIDEN”, the V.P. Slot!!:-(
Since his target is gay politicians with anti-gay policies, most are GOP. Pretty sure Charlie Crist is in there.
And you know the MSM loves a good story about gay Republicans.
Explains their dislike of Christians.
Hmmm...Tim Geithner...??
I could be wrong, but I think Congressman Barney Frank might be gay. (sarcasm off now)
We know Hillary has a lesbian lover: Saudi intelligence agent Huma Abedin.
You are dead right on this. They are also over represented in TV and news also.
And they have more money than God.
Wait until nationalized health care hits.
Cheers!
Color me shocked.
Dick’s targets include Florida’s current governor, Charlie Crist, who was viewed for a time as a front-runner to be John McCain’s vice-presidential pick; David Dreier (R-San Dimas), who was once a leading candidate for the House majority leader post when the Republicans still controlled Congress; Ken Mehlman, George Bush’s campaign manager during the 2004 election and former Republican National Committee chairman; former New York City mayor Ed Koch; the now-retired Idaho Sen. Larry Craig; Jim McCrery (R-La.), a ranking member on the House Ways and Means Committee who retired last year; Ed Schrock (R-Va.), who retired in 2004; and — gasp — the prominent Fox News anchor Shepard Smith.
No Lindsay Graham?

Advocate.com: Your film Outrage maintains that D.C. is crawling with high-powered closeted gay men. You spill the beans on politicians like U.S. representative Ed Schrock of Virginia, U.S. representative David Dreier of California, Florida governor Charlie Crist, former New York mayor Ed Koch, and others. Does this film actually out anyone who wasnt already outed?
Kirby Dick: They’re all people who have been outed in some other forms; one of the themes of the film is that while the gay press has been writing about these issues for almost two decades now, the mainstream press, for the most part, has not picked this up.
Where’s the ‘outing’ of Anderson Cooper. I guess all of the closeted homosexuals are supposed to be Republicans just by chance? /s
Another smear job by a lefty movie producer. How special. /s
The Washington Note is supporting the first DC premier screening of the new film, OUTRAGE — an expose on the secret lives of gay politicians.
The film opens in selected theaters in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC on Friday, May 8th — but I am supporting a screening in Washington at the Landmark E Street Cinemas on Tuesday, April 28th at 7 pm.
Michael Rogers, who was the first to lay the groundwork for outing former Idaho Senator Larry Craig, figures heavily in the film with his work in exposing politicians who have consistently voted against the civil rights and in favor of legislation that discriminates against gays and lesbians.
Others interviewed are US Representatives Barney Frank and Tammy Baldwin, former New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey, former Congressman Jim Kolbe, activist Larry Kramer, former US Ambassador to Romania and Council for Global Equality senior adviser Michael Guest, radio personality Michelangelo Signorile, and myself.
If any regular — lurking — or even closeted — TWN readers would like to join me for this premier screening and to meet Director Kirby Dick, who was nominated for an academy award for his film, This Film is Not Yet Rated, send me a note. I’d be happy to provide tickets for readers — but don’t fail to show up.
And. . .very cool. . .I just learned that Washington Life magazine will be covering the event.

Dick wouldnt screen the film for us or confirm how much new information he might reveal, but he did give some hints: The film examines the psychology, politics, and ethics of outingand comes down hard in favor of it. If someone is passing laws against the LGBT community, and theyre closeted, that is a form of hypocrisy, and the public deserves to know, says Dick, who relied on interviews with gay staffers, pols, and media figures, many of whom were granted anonymity.
In addition to arguing ferociously against the politicians who choose the closet, he does describe the cost of doing so, because these people are victims of homophobia too, says Dick. One person told me you can never go into too much detail about anything you do because there will always be the next question, and the next question. That keeps you distanced.
Barney Frank, Tammy Baldwin, and Larry Kramer all feature prominently in the filmalong with outing pioneer Michelangelo Signorile and New Jerseys McGreevey, both scheduled to answer questions after the premiere. McGreevey said to me, Being in the closet is actually good training for politics, the director recalls, because you continually have to be able to spin.

The Academy Award nominated Twist of Faith, however, is probably Dicks most polemical film thus far because of its explosive subject matter: Sexual abuses committed by priests, whose tracks are then covered by the Catholic Church.
Described by the Los Angeles Times as “riveting and heartbreaking filled with important truths about humanity in all its denominations,” Twist of Faith follows the difficulties encountered by a man who claims he, while still a minor, was coerced into having sex with a priest in Ohio.
