I have to question both the sanity and patriotism of government workers who put loyalty to their department and political leaders above the well being of the American people and the constitution they took an oath to uphold. FBI are educated well enough to know the constitution and the history of the rise of 20th century tyranny and despotism. Shame on them.

FBI spied on TEA Party Americans!

Douglas Hagmann & Judi McLeod Bio
Email Article

By Douglas Hagmann & Judi McLeod Sunday, April 19, 2009

...

“The implications to the citizens of the U.S. are ominous. It seems that there is a hostile political agenda coming from Washington that characterizes the supporters of our constitutional freedoms as threats to our domestic security, which is totally absurd. The redirection, the refocusing of domestic threats from al Qaeda cells to ‘flag waving right-wingers’ is something that has gone from a murmur a few years ago to a roar today.”

Training government-issued cameras on ordinary citizens, many of whom brought their children to an estimated 600 Tax Day TEA Parties is a page torn out of George Orwell’s 1984 and makes the term “God Bless America” more meaningful than ever.

The Northeast Intelligence Network and Canada Free Press expect the government’s denial of the surveillance of the TEA Parties to go viral as soon as this story is posted.

Photos here of Washington State Patrol on rooftops taking photos in Olympia. I witnessed one with a photographer in tow, who moved his way to the front of the stage and had him take photos of people near the speakers platform. Everyone around me thought it looked odd. Gotta remember the WSP are employees of the Governor.

It sounds like they are trying to dissuade us from doing it again. They want us looking over our shoulders. The best thing to do is just ignore the threat of surveillance and continue to move forward toward even more meaningful gatherings.

Well, Arlo Guthrie talked about this in a song a few years back and gave us advice on what to do about it...

And friends, somewhere in Washington enshrined in some little folder, is a
study in black and white of my fingerprints. And the only reason I’m
singing you this song now is cause you may know somebody in a similar
situation, or you may be in a similar situation, and if you are in a
situation like that there’s only one thing you can do and that’s walk into
the shrink wherever you are ,just walk in say “Shrink, You can get
anything you want, at Alice’s restaurant.”. And walk out.

Because similar actions have been taken by various administrations throughout our history as a nation, we should not become paranoid about this.

“Listen to what I am saying,” stated the source during an interview with Doug Hagmann, founder (NEIN). “The Department of Homeland Security Intelligence Assessment that is receiving so much attention is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg, and the true patriotic citizens of this country are on the Titanic.”

This is a little ‘conspiracy-ish’ for me. It would surprise me to know that law enforcement was keeping an eye on any large gatherings...particularly after the kind of incidents that all world ecomic forums generate these days. It would be a bit surprising if the FBI would be involved, certainly in any significant way, but in places like D.C., it wouldn’t surprise me. There’s also the question about who they’re watching. Law abiding Americans, peacefully protesting...or those who might want to exploit such gatherings. I’m not sure I would jump to any conclusions yet.

They should have stuck their FBI logo on the cameras so we could all go wave hello at them! lol

Think of it this way.

To those in the Federal Government, their worldview is such that they can not think of islamics as the main threat. No matter appointed them, the culture of the place is such that a minority like muslims can not be perceived as a threat.

So now there are these Tea parties springing up all over. This is a home grown thing, that conforms to all their preconceived notions of who is “bad”. It is PC to not like them, and target them. So a FBI guy who knows how the game is played knows that it is far safer job wise to target the Tea party than the Arabs shooting guns in the Islamic day camp .
