Forgive me if this has already been posted, but I can't find anything on FR in terms of defending Judge Jay Bybee from the unrelenting assault from the Left; see the editorial below by the NY Times and a related article by the Washington Post.

Their language is the precise bureaucratese favored by dungeon masters throughout history. They detail how to fashion a collar for slamming a prisoner against a wall, exactly how many days he can be kept without sleep (11), and what, specifically, he should be told before being locked in a box with an insect — all to stop just short of having a jury decide that these acts violate the laws against torture and abusive treatment of prisoners.

I'm surprised to find nothing on FR supporting Judge Bybee -- if I missed it (I searched on Bybee and found only one thread about his appointment to the 9th circuit in 2003), I apologize.

Please get the word out that needs our support. According to Law.com, he is getting some pretty hi-powered pro bono assistance:
