Time to "blacklist" anti Palin Republicans

Posted on 04/19/2009 3:04:45 PM PDT by se_ohio_young_conservative

It is time to unleash hell on the National Republican party establishment. We need to "blacklist" any Republican who speaks out against Governor Palin is an unfair way. We can put their name on a "wall of shame". and actively seek to defeat them in GOP primaries or undermine them in any way possible.

It is time to get nasty. These are the kind of tactics that got President Obama the nomination and ultimately the Presidency in 2008. It it time we take notes and play the same game.

And we need to play their game in a general election. We need to dig up trash on the Democrats and go after them as they have us.

We have so many resources at our finger tips. It is time to use them in a more effective way.

While it is very easy to agree with the sentiments, I suspect “Blacklist” is a strong word for a lot of “moderate” people. I would also suggest what you are asking is that we just no longer support anyone who is a Palin “basher” within the conservative ranks.

I’ve never been much on mamby pamby people - I tend to see things very clearly in black and white and can agree with the GWB’s sentiment that if you are not with me you are against me.

I am way too angry to play nice.

many in this country who are real genuine conservatives have been used and abused by the GOP establishment for too long. Some of us are out for their political heads.

Great points. Ronald took heat and now Sarah. If Sarah can hold her own she will have earned whatever comes here way. Just because she is a gal doesn't mean she needs to be handled with kid gloves.

She can handle her own. Close examination is critical of ANY politician/candidate. We elect them I would hope based on that focus to a large extent. I would love to see loads of debates amongst conservatives right now. Strengthen them for 2010 and 2012. The only problem is we also are fighting the MSM which is doing its own campaign on our candidates so every time someone like Sarah opens here mouth they generally ignore the good stuff, publish things out of context, or the Dem. party uses content from these debates to use against our candidates in the general.

However. We can't let the losers stifle the positive debate that needs to happen frequently and wholeheartedly in any political party. If people want to help Sarah they would spend their time and money most productively in giving her campaign money and working for her in any election campaign.

I think Palin is a true conservative, but I can’t stand her. She needs to worry about her family and not a national campaign again.

I disagree 1000%

There has been NO CONSERVATIVE who has fired up amd energized the Republicans like Palin did, since Reagan.

Newt was close in 1994 with the contract on american and it won us the House and Senate for the first time in 40 years.

We need Sarah, and I will defend her like she was a relative.

Who else we gonna run? The same old same old??????? Mitt Romney? PLEASE NO

I agree - heads should roll - and - I’m not much on the centerest portion of the party - but - I don’t particularly like the term “Blacklist”. I’d never vote for any of them and as I said on election day - I voted for Palin - McCain was a loser and held her back.

Before I end up in a DHS reports, LOL...no one should go join a militia or do anything illegal or harmful.

we are not going to take out our anger that way.

Instead we are going to unleash our rath and misery on anti Palin people and RINO’s within the Republican party. We are miserable and we have a lot of rath. they need to watch out.

(1) What's your definition of "blacklisting?" So far, Palin's views on border security and limited government are not known, and she made some global warming comments that had conservatives' scratching their heads.

Ok, either you are lying here or you bought into the BS the leftards put out in the media. She had the entire context of her speech on the AK.gov website and she didn't say anything close to what was reported in the media. Conservatives really need to research sh** before they believe the lying media.

So, as I say, and add to now, you are either lying, taken in by the MSMs BS, or you are a liberal trying to discredit Palin. AND that is just on your first point!

Well, you can start with the Mormon group, and Romney — since they were “at the head of the pack” for trashing Palin (while the campaign was still active and alive, no less...).

That is entirely uncalled for, but, the family life of the Alaskan first family is, sadly, rather tawdry.

Facts, unfortunately, are facts.

So you’ve wasted your entire life running away from anything you believe (without really thinking) can be described as “tawdry.”

Which shall we consider more of a waste, your perpetual running or the number of times the cackling sound of “tawdry” has droned from your tight lipped, spittle flecked mouth?

—RINO’s—

Pray tell, what is a “Republican in Name Only.” And don’t you DARE say it is a republican who is not conservative, for there is no bylaw or manifesto which says a republican has to be conservative. In fact, until Ronald Reagan became President of the United States, most of the GOP’s leading lights were squishy moderates. Now, save for religious mystics which still hold influence in the GOP leadership, the republican party seems to be reverting to type. What we need is a rational, scientific, REASON-BASED conservatism (which leaves out mystics like Palin), and the GOP seems to have no one able to give us that.

Governor Palin’s a mystic?

How cool is that.
