Dear Friend,
The Santa Monica Tea Party of 2009 and Tea Parties all across America are being organized by friends of Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly, all about getting less funding for government. Let's show up with a better message: STOP funding wars and Wall Street and start funding the needs of the people-- health care, education, and a green enconomy. Join us as we crash their party.
Santa Monica Pier, 100 Colorado Ave, Santa Monica. For more info or to RSVP, contact Audrey.
Thursday, April 16th, 5:00--7:30 PM
Our first knitting circle was such a success we've decided to do it again this Thursday!
We will be knitting squares for CODEPINK's White House cozy for our upcoming Mother's Day action in DC. If you can't join us at Lafayette Park, this is a great way to make sure your message of peace is heard at the vigil! Join us for great conversation about the state of our world and what we can do to change it. If you want to knit bring your knitting needles or crochet hook and your dark pink or green yarn. Join us at the LA PINKhouse for an evening of fun, new friends, great conversation, and maybe learn a new skill or two from a fellow peace activist.
If you can't make it to the knitting circle, but still want to contribute your handiwork, please visit our knitting page, or contact Janna for more info. Or take a photo for our online photo mosaic and send the final card to your Mom for Mother's Day.
LA PINKhouse, 2010 Linden Ave., Venice.
For more info, or to RSVP, contact Audrey.

Join us for a breakfast with Wangari Maathai, Nobel Peace Laureate, former member of Kenya's Parliament, and current Assistant Minister for Environment, Natural Resources, and Wildlife in the Kenyan government. She is also founder of the Green Belt Movement, which has planted 30 million trees across Kenya since 1977. Her book, "Unbowed: A Memoir," inspired the documentary "Taking Root: The Vision of Wangari Maathai," which will air on PBS April 14.
Los Angeles Central Library, Mark Taper Auditorium, 630 W. 3rd St., Los Angeles
The breakfast is sponsored by the Library Foundation of Los Angeles' ALOUD Business Forums series. Seats are limited. For more info, contact Audrey.
See you in action,
Jodie, Linda, Susan, Patricia, Janna, Paris, and Audrey
Don't let pinkos ruin a good tea party.
Balloons filled with red food coloring; if they like pink, they should mind.
I wonder how much a professional protestor makes?
Hehehe. Or a pink pie.
Klan Pink, begging for nanny to take care of them but wanting to tell nanny what to do.
Pretty much. Everyone should just tell them where to go when they show up.
Will they stand out or will they wear camo.?
Look at their socks, not in their eyes.
Code Pinkos ‘scissoring’ a protest again, huh? ;-)
throw the pinkos in the water too!
Throw the pinko Pinkos in the Boston Harbor too :-)
How the mighty have fallen. Now Klan Pink has to show up at an esentially conservative event to get attention.
Great! Dump them in the bay along with the tea.
Gosh, I thought since Dems were running Washinton it was THEIR war now and THEY were funding Wall St., etc. But I guess I would never feel comfortable protesting side-by-side with Code Puke.
When is code punk going to call for Obama’s impeachment for Iraq, Afghan and now Somalia. This guy’s a real hawk.
Rush called me personally. He has me on speed-dial.
Try permanent pink dyes. That should settle the issue. Or skunk smell liquid. PeeYuu.
Name change to CODE PINKOS
most of these code pink women stink like hell, they are easy to spot, they have a strong female stench......
I like your thinking ;-)
I think that officially makes them attention whores.
