Team Obama Announces It Will Use Community Organizations Like ACORN For Census Count
Change! Team Obama confirmed today that they will use community organizations like ACORN for the census count.
ACORN will help count the illegal immigrants, or as Speaker Pelosi calls them, the "American patriots." CNS News reported, via Mere Rhetoric:
The acting director of the U.S. Census Bureau, Thomas Mesenbourg, told CNSNews.com that the bureau intends to work with community organizations to make sure every illegal alien in the United States is counted in the 2010 Census. The Census is used to apportion the seats in the U.S. House of Representative. There are 435 House seats that are divided among the states in proportion to their population, which is determined by the decennial census.
A former organizer for ACORN pleaded guilty to federal charges for submitting fraudulent voter registrations in the St. Louis area just this week.
The radical ACORN organization worked closely with the Obama campaign during the election this past year although the community organizing group was not open about this. The photo below was scrubbed from the ACORN website before the election:
One of Barack Obama's first big "community organizer" jobs involved ACORN in 1992. Obama also trained ACORN employees. He represented ACORN in court. Obama worked with and protested with ACORN. His campaign donated $800,000 to ACORN this year for voter registration efforts.
And, ACORN even canvassed for Obama last year.

Yeah, but this will be manipulated in favor of the liberal northeastern states and western states. No way Texas gets its illegals counted!
So, can the INS busses just follow the ACORNS around to pick the illegals up?
Or are they aiding and abetting the presence of illegal aliens by not reporting their presence?
How can the US Government pay to count these people, but NOT remove them, in accordance with the law?

I was just going to say "maybe this can turn out OK since Texas will pick up a bunch of seats to counterbalance Kalifornia", but, you succeeded in dashing what little sunshine I could dream about tonight.

This is just Obama demonstrating that God has nothing on him; Obama, too, can bring the dead back to life.
I don't think they can use ACORN to actually work on the census count. Those jobs are filled from applicants who have taken an exam, and further exams for supervisors. Works about like civil service and gives veterans preferences, etc.
The article says work with community organizations, which probably means the census workers would consult with ACORN to help locate everyone, legal and illegal.
And, there are no questions about citizenship on the census forms. Some illegals just avoid the census out of fear it might be used to find them, but it isn't used that way.

I had a visit from a census worker today. He was clean cut, seemed to be well educated. I live in a rural area and he said that he was getting GPS locations of each residence, using a handheld GPS.
We were talking at my gate, about 100 feet from my house and he asked if he could go to my front steps to get his GPS reading, I told him that he was close enough. He didn’t ask any questions but just gave me a handout (form D-31) stating that I was required, by law, to provide information requested and that the information would remain confidential for 72 years.
Maybe soon it will be the data chip implanted under the skin.
I applied and passed the exam and they said they would contact me in Feb. or March. I have not heard from them.
They arn't going to show up at your door, or anyone else's, for that matter. They are going to make up the numbers, just like they make up the fraudulent votes. They will target areas that are closely contested but leaning slightly one way or the other, then try to gin up the numbers to make them more favorable to their side.
I think the time has come for our side to realize that we need to battle in the political arena 24x7. This means that our side will need its own career activists, so to speak. We can no longer sit on the sidelines and hope that the common sense of the American people will save the day. There isn't enough of it out there, so we need to be in the trenches battling with the ACORN nutcases to keep them relatively honest.
