I like Glenn Beck better than Bill O’Reilly.

Glenn is an actual conservative.

Each time Beck has high ratings, Bore responds by being more conservative.

ViVa competition.

Glenn ain’t gonna take BoR unless he gets a prime time slot. Soon as that happens though watch out.

I thought that would happen when he joined, but I am surprised it is happening so quickly in such a difficult time slot.

I can not stand O’reilly, he is a cowardly populist.

O’reilly NEVER takes on a tough issue to push the conservative cause.

O’reilly just figures out which direction the mob is running, and he tries to get in front of them.

Even so, he is useful at times. There are libs who will watch him, who won't watch other true conservatives.

I am sure O’reilly’s ego will be bruised by Beck.

GOOD!

I’m still hoping that both Rush Limbaugh and Howie Carr eventually get back to having their own TV shows at some point in the future. Both Rush and Howie would definitely have decent TV shows, IMHO! I also do hope that, if both do have future TV shows, it isn’t the full implementation of the “Fairness Doctrine” (or whatever it is called that replaces it) which creates such a situation from happening and which makes such TV shows also only last for a brief moment of time.

Given the attacks coming from MSNBC I would say that Beck will get more viewers than expected.

Once again, thank you crazy people on MSNBC.

I’d like to see Beck replace Hannity at 9...Sean is afraid of snowballs; we need someone with more backbone.

I don't like the style of each other's show. Too "hytserical and theatrical"

Tony Snow, you are missed!

He ought to. The only reason O’reilley has those ratings is because of the time slot. Beck is earning a better slot.
I say dump Shep, leave Hannitty alone Beck goes to 8:00. O’Reilley goes to 5:00 since he doesn’t do radio anymore.

Beck seems to be a real conservative...you know, willing to be a conservative even when it isn’t PC. O’Reilly is a self-important, arrogant phony. He is a conservative when he believes it will be most pleasing to his audience.

I like Glenn Beck. I don’t know yet if that’s because he’s new enough that he hasn’t jumped the shark yet or not, but right now he’s way more entertaining than that pompous blowhard O’Reilly.

He must be getting good ratings. Msnbc showed clips of him the other morning and all of the panelists were laughing because he got choked up talking about how much he loved his country. They only ridicule that which they fear.

Don’t need to excerpt.

So Glenn Beck leaves Headline News - and is now sending shockwaves throughout Cable News. Now drawing over 2,000,000 viewers and has only been on Fox since January.

So let’s see who the winners and losers are - of this turn of events:

Winner: FOX News
Loser: Headline News
Loser: The other cable news channels
Loser: Bill O’Reilly?

The 2 ratings giants for a long time have been Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly of course…. and really they’ve had very little competition. Glenn didn’t stand much of a chance on the CNN channel, but now…. look out. You’ve got to figure (although they wouldn’t admit it) that Hannity and O’Reilly are pretty worried. Imagine if Beck ever got a good prime time spot on Fox?

Glenn Beck has been dancing up the radio charts for sometime - now at # 3 (behind non other than Sean Hannity). Oh and Mr. O’Reilly just got out of radio? Hmmmmmmm….
Now I’m not saying this is why, but I’m not not saying that (to borrow a Beckian expression).

Time will tell if there’ll be a new leader in Cable News…. I think his name is Glenn Beck.
