OBAMA ADMINISTRATION OUTRAGE OF THE DAY - SAVE A PENNY CHEAT OUR VETS
GINA COBB ^ | 03/18/2009

On what planet do the people in the Obama Administration live? How (fill in the expletive of your choice) tone deaf can the Democrats and supporters of the Obama administration’s plan to ask once wounded veterans to pay for their treatments (through their private insurance carriers) be?

[...] the President intends to move forward with this unreasonable plan,” said Commander David K. Rehbein of The American Legion. “He says he is looking to generate $540-million by this method, but refused to hear arguments about the moral and government-avowed obligations that would be compromised by it.”

I believe he’s deliberately trying to provoke decent Americans into rash action.

He probably thinks no one would care. Thinks they hate the servicemen as much as he does.

The abstract of my doctoral thesis here is that as things worsen, it will sink in to 95% of the true blue liberals out there that they are no more immune to the effects of job loss, devalued investments, hyperinflation, etc., than the rest of us.

When the Kool-aid drinkers realize that their Messiah has THEM measured for a box as well, then rash Americans will be provoked into rash action.

p.s. I really, REALLY would not want to have been a military recruiter these past few days. Their phones must be ringing of the hook non-stop. Recruitment is going to suffer an instant body blow. Could that have been the Lord O’s real objective?

Could be. But as I said in another post, using other words, it might be a good thing to have more of our Patriotic, Honorable, brave men and women not under bambis yoke. If you get my meaning.

Someone is bound to nut up, do something stupid and put the rest of us at risk.

It’s only a matter of time.

If it hits the fan and they declare martial law, they will blame the patriots for bringing it all down when in reality they’ve really been chomping at the bit to crack down.

The Hegelian Principle

You remember the steps: The first step (thesis) is to create a problem. The second step (anti-thesis) is to generate opposition to the problem (fear, panic, hysteria). The third step (synthesis) is to offer ** the solution ** to the problem created in step one, -— change which would have been impossible to impose on the people without proper psychological conditioning achieved in stages one and two.”

I agree with you Califreak.

I'm afraid some nut out there will crack and give bambi an excuse to put the brown shirts out in force. After that, well, I'm more afraid of what happens after that.

Yes...I DO remember the Larry Lawrence story..and I remember there were a LOT of ticked-off people, myself included. I remember it really went all over me to know someone who didn't deserve to be in that hallowed ground was there. Glad they dug his butt up & shipped him to wherever, because he sure didn't belong there. As for Zero and his attempt to shank the good veterans of this country, unfortunately, I was not at all surprised but shocked at his nerve just the same. We cannot allow this man to continue on bastardizing every good thing this country stands for. I'll do whatever I can to help, you can believe that!

You fail to understand that America’s greatest enemy today, BO of Kenya, would naturally gravitate toward sundry terrorists and mismits, such as Hamas. More support will be coming, and our own military will be emasculated.
BTW, I work with a fine man whose son is in Iraq. Message: Al qaida is emboldened anew, and it will soon turn that country into a cauldron of terrorism again. Sorry, Bob

No surprises there, the bad guys can always smell weakness.

Hopefully the Iraqis are in good enough shape. They’ve had actual experience of being pushed around by those psychos and I don’t think they want them back.

“He has less than two years before midterm elections when he will likely lose congress.”

In view of the events of the last 72 hours and how Obama shafted Chris Dodd, I think he’ll be “losing congress” starting right now.
