Obama should give up the fancy steaks if he wants to show how sincere he is in saving money. Wounded vets should have to pay for their treatment and certainly should have to foot the bill for his fancy meals.

If this goes through, my idea is to set up private Trust Funds for wounded vets to help defray the cost. Civilian Patriots can pledge an amount they can afford every month to help our Soldiers. Patriots have the moral high-ground on most anything this pathetic criminal wishes try. Crack under pressure? Show me the pressure diaper boy....
Does anyone here remember the Larry Lawrence fiasco twelve or so years ago?
M. Larry Lawrence was a zillionaire California developer who was a major Clinton donor (he was fined for exceeding the limit) and bigtime Dem activist who helped him carry CA in 1992. He had been rewarded with an ambassadorship to Switzerland and had claimed for decades that he had served in the WWII Merchant Marine and had survived a torpedoing. His widow Sheila sued Arianna Huffington in 1997 when she intimated Sheila had been among Clinton’s paramours (Arianna was still nominally a conservative in those days, before she decided the cooler kids were on the other side of the aisle). That year the Army released a list of 69 people who had been given special permission to be interred in Arlington National Cemetery, Lawrence among them. The poo hit the fan and Congressional investigators determined there was no record of Lawrence ever serving in the Merchant Marine (and even then, fair or not, they were civilians and ineligible). After much tumult in the nascent New Media, and with the prospect of a Veterans’ March on Arlington Cemetery threatening to materialize, Clinton’s pal was quietly dug up.
I swear it took a few days before this thing really sank in. I wanted to believe it was the Onion at first. How could Obama be so callous AND so stupid. I mean, he’s sending $900million to rebuild Hamas, for crying out loud. I think a veterans gathering at Lafayette Square Park is in order here. Volunteers?
p.s. I really, REALLY would not want to have been a military recruiter these past few days. Their phones must be ringing of the hook non-stop. Recruitment is going to suffer an instant body blow. Could that have been the Lord O’s real objective?

If Obama continues to make slow changes and many of them, the press will overlook it. Pray that he would be unable to slowdown and even speed up - Speed up the the Nth Degree a liberal Democrat can. For then this country might repent before the damange is too much for it.
