Bill O'Reilly Debates Socialism and Social Engineering with Mark Lamont Hill - Video 3/10/09

Here is video of Bill O'Reilly debating Dr. Mark Lamont Hill on the issue of Socialism and Social Engineering. Hill argues the standard far-left liberal / socialist line, while O'Reilly argues that the government does not have the right to force people to be charitable by taking huge amounts of their income. Hill does not believe there is anything wrong with "wealth redistribution."

Listening to Dr. Hill, it is clear what we are up against. It is unnerving to realize how comfortable people like Hill are with socialist principles. Obama is trying to put that philosophy into practice. Hopefully, there will be enough Americans who will turn the ship around in 2010 and 2012, before it is too late. . . . . (Watch Video)

I watched the show & thought it was disgraceful for Dr. Hill to take what I consider to be pride in Bill calling him “Che”.

Never mind Che’s murderous ways....it’s the Revoluci’on that matters, right, Dr. Hill?

That was second time I’ve seen “doctor” Lamont on O’Reilly. He’s a perfect example of how we are wasting our money trying to educate morons. He’s car wash “vacuum cleaner guy” material at best.

Since it is Dr. Mark Lamont Hill we can assume that he had some higher education. Suppose the question posed to the good doctor is would he support everyone in the country to be given a PhD, regardless of whether they attended classes, did the research and assignments, or took and passed the exams.

“Professor” Hill is a “professor” of “Urban Studies”, which was formerly called Black Studies. IOW, he’s an affirmative-action token who thinks he’s an academic. He’s on Foxnews a lot, and he’s always an idiot. I wish somebody at Fox had the guts to tell him what a loser he is.

I cannot understand why BOR has that clown on. I change channels whenever he has him (or Rivera) on.

Normally O’Reilly is an idiot when it come to economics but I thought he did a credible job defending capitalism in this segment. Hill began by stating that all Americans deserved the fruit of O’Reilly’s success - after that it was pretty much downhill for him.

Like most Marxists he fails to recognize the moral imperative inherent in the ‘who deserves how much’ argument. He also refuses to acknowledge the fact that the system itself rewards success and punishes failure without government intervention
