Gov. Palin is totally pro-life. Always has been. Always will be. She believes in a culture of life from cradle to grave. Her choice for Supreme Court judge was made in accordance with Alaska law. She chose the person most qualified from the names sent to her. The Governor's choice has a record of fairness. That is important as the courts sort out some very thorny issues. Governor Palin's choices were either a liberal or an independent. She went with the independent. And as the following article reflects - this selection process is flawed.

Process of selecting Alaska's judges is clearly flawed
By Bob Flint Catholic Anchor Online
Alaska courts have a long history of removing contentious social and cultural issues from the democratic process. Court rulings have forced private hospitals to perform abortions, ordered gay marriage and benefits, required taxpayer funded abortions and interfered with parents' rights to be involved in the abortion decisions of their minor child.
These court rulings involve the creation of new and novel legal doctrines untethered to our Constitutional history, intent, or even language. The decisions of the public and their elected representatives are ignored, not to mention the rights of individuals to parent their children or perform services or charity without being forced into immoral and abhorrent practices.
The Alaska courts have consistently struck at such basic moral rights as life, family, marriage and conscience, undermining in the process the essential pillars on which society is based.

Go to Sarah Palin’s Facebook page if you are interested in the truth rather than being a nuisance and you will discover that Sarah is pro-life and always will be.
I appreciate Sarah’s response.
I would appreciate on thing more, namely a statement along the lines of “Roe vs. Wade is an unconstitutional decision which should be overturned. All future justices appointed to the United States Supreme Court should clearly communicate their unconditional recognition of this fact.”
Why don’t you go commune with the baby killers over at DU. You’ll feel more comfortable there. You people will tolerate anything - the last time you got big spender open borders Bush.
Now you want a crazed Feminist to run your life. A woman who keeps her newborn under her desk at work while her underage daughter hangs out at a drug house and gets pregnant. A Feminist who wants to spend federal taxpayer money on her personal responsibilities. This would make a good Hollywood movie about dark compulsions.
Palin is a career crazed Feminist who’s only goal it to break the glass ceiling and to bring as many females (Planned Parenthood monsters even) as possible with her - just like Obama and his personal goals.
That is the other thing that Sarah needs to do:
actively oppose and fight to change the lawyer’s club method of selecting judicial nominees that currently prevails in Alaska.
I didn’t say she wasn’t personally pro-life. How convenient to hold high moral standards for herself and then empower the baby killers around her because they are Feminists like her . . . cake and eat it, too.
Embrace primary caregiver fatherhood: it is the hope of the future.
Just how drunk are you?
I asked you a simple question and you went all PMS with knuckleheaded lunacy!
You are an absolute blithering idiot and an embarrassment to FR. I hope you realize just how ridiculous you are acting.
At least I didn’t put a baby killer on the Supreme Court.
Ok question: why choose at all?
It's why they pay her the big bucks. "This is above my pay-grade" is not an option.
It is clear that you cannot soberly answer my question tonight. Why don’t you get some sleep and try again tomorrow before your coffee is “Irished” up.
Come one guys. Lighten up, you’ve both been here for years and this spat isn’t worth it.
Interestingly, Fred and Jeri Thompson were two of Sarah’s biggest supporters. I’m hoping they’ll continue that support, should Sarah decide to run for the Presidency in the future, be that 2012 or beyond. She’s a young woman, and has many years to reach for that prize.
“By the way a new radio program dedicated to Sarah Palin will debut tonight at 11 PM EST. It is called Join Team Sarah radio and will be on blogger radio. You can access the program at www.conservatives4palin.com. “
Interesting name for the show, since I have been trying, with no luck, to join since late January.
Can I just listen to the show via that website, or do I have to join some organization first?
Cool.
I didn’t call another Freeper a drunk.
Next thing you know Eaker will be posting naked photos of me.
Your reputation on FR is pristine and I’ve beem reading your comments for 8+ years. (Don’t be overly flattered. I haven’t read every one of them.)
Can;t we just let this go?
I think your reply was aimed at someone else or you have a teading impairment.
Plain can just say no.
Because that is what her predecessor did.
Any other half-smart comments?
Well, I went to the site a couple of times... it's a cool site, but I wasn't able to find out where the blogger radio was nor where to listen to it. I stopped by a Team Sarah booth at CPAC (not sure these are the same people)... they were nice, but didn't seem particularly well-organized. Oh well.
“dont put all your eggs in the Palin basket. Shes just one possibility for 2012.”
One thing for sure, I hope Dems and Independents don’t pick the Republican candidate again; otherwise, we’ll get another McCain.
We need to tell the Republican Party to stop the open primaries in the states that have them.
