The lesson in this week's episode is that all Republicans should not get into inessential and otiose arguments regarding and/or with Rush Limbaugh... EXACTLY as the scheming and underhanded Obama and Emanuel have meticulously planned- DO NOT go for the bait.

This propaganda offensive is meant to divert attention from Obama's ongoing demolition of the country, and drive a wedge between his opponents- betraying insecurity and lack of scruples on his part. This President disengenuously portrays the Republican Party as monolithic and single-minded on one hand, while attempting to exploit the differences that he full-well knows exist on the other. What is obvious is that this political charlatan is out to destroy all legitimate opposition to his ill-concieved policies, and by any means necessary.

Barack Obama also displays signs of a naricissistic personality disorder, therefore he has difficulty dealing with critisism of any sort- making Mr Limbaugh all the more a problem in his mind. Today I read on the Riehl World View of Obama's connection to the recent series of anti-Rush Limbaugh ads through DNC communications operative Brad Woodhouse... allowing Obama to keep a safe distance while others do the dirty work.

And Obama mentor Saul Alinsky's handbook Rules for Radicals outlined the techniques being used by this administration to try and break any link between Mr Limbaugh and the GOP:

While I'm in Iraq my wife is handling a Social Security disability issue for a relative. OMB Watch links are everywhere. OMB, sounds like Office of Management and Budget, right. Not, it is a front group for Obie that now has backdoor entry into peoples private business. Just wait until John Q Public learns that the SSA doesn't think they are good enough to be the payee for their mother's or father's or husbands disability or Medicare payments and has that responsibility assigned to an agency who can take 10% right off the top. The Obama Administration's entire focus on Rush Limbaugh is nothing more than a childish retreat to the Straw-man Fallacy: When you can't defend your position on merit, build yourself an opponent out of straw, make a big show by attacking the straw man and then declare yourself victorious.

The Obama Administration can't defend it's performance record to the tens of millions of Americans that have watched their 401k's crash and burn since Inauguration Day and has proved itself too incompetent to take on Russia or Iran, so, to divert attention, the Obama Administration declares war on a radio personality that 280 million out of 300 million Americans never listen to.

It is so much easier to attack a radio personality than to deal effectively with Vladimir Putin's people.

It is so much easier to attack a radio personality than to explain to tens of millions of Americans that their 401k's have crashed because foreign and domestic investors have voted "No Confidence" to the economy-killing Obama policies that penalize hard work and reward irresponsible behavior.

It is so pathetic that it would be quite funny if the consequences of their incompetence weren't so harmful to America.

I think every elected Republican should stop reacting to the media-pressed Limbaugh non-event. They should declare that they don't have the time to listen to Limbaugh's show because they are working while he is working. Steele and Republicans should declare that they aren't as frightened as democrats by opinioneers and talking heads. "It isn't Republicans who are attacking authors and lecturers, it is democrats who are attacking them."

When they are challenged to react to opinions of their "leader" and they are confronted with words from Limbaugh, they should advise Mr. Steele never uttered those words. They should respond that Limbaugh is no more a Republican spokesman than is Keith Olbermannnnn or Sean Penn. "We don't have time to quibble over the thoughts of a private citizen while the Obama administration is driving down the stock market." "We aren't the speech police, that is the democrat party."

Attacking Rush, while simultaneously destroying the US economy, is akin to waiting for Popeye to consume a bucketful of spinach PRIOR TO slapping him. I am actually finding the overreaching and stupidity combo of the liberals to be entertaining on this front.

Rush has been a consistent and present support for those of us who have been in the proverbial wilderness more than once. I wonder if those morons (like snake-head carville) will ever realize there is NO good time to attack our beloved little fuzzball?

Bottom line: Alinsky sucks and Alinsky can be beat. Alinsky never plans for the countermove. His strategizing, if you can call it that, assumes every move made will completely destroy the opposition with a silver bullet.

The problem with using Alinsky on a guy like Rush is that he has a huge audience and can motivate his own armies to turn that right back on whoever attacks him. And he’s doing just that.
